Why wouldn’t we? We will likely have funds from gyok, wright, and maybe sheaf leaving. That’s without considering van ewijk could leave for significant funds too.
It’s a lot of questions marks for a player who reportedly cost a fair whack of money and who pretty much no one expects to contribute at all next season.Harsh, he wasn't bought to make an immediate impact.
IF his attitude and application is right in training he can improve and still be successful here
Can't see that potential myself but I hope I'm wrong and you are right. He’s 20, lots of potential there

Anyone with a football brain can see he has the raw attributesCan't see that potential myself but I hope I'm wrong and you are right.
Really like that suggestion.Promise David is a striker I would take a look at, playing in Belgium. 23, strong as an ox, likes the physical battle, pace, 21 goals in 39 games in all comps. Just the kind of target man we are looking for I think
He did start games and led the line - very badly, as it turned out.I think you were expecting him to be starting games and leading our line. It's quite clear he was a "moneyball" or potential profit type of signing, who it's thought will develop over his contract and turn a profit. At 20 years old, he's got years of development ahead and I'd like to see that start with a loan next season before silly comments like "dire signing" are banded about.
If we'd have signed him before BTA, we wouldnt have signed BTA at all.
CluelessHe did start games and led the line - very badly, as it turned out.
He reportedly cost similar to BTA, which is ridiculous when you compare both their career track records and their output this season.
Loan him out next season and then it’s 2026/27 at the earliest before he’s ready to contribute. I’d be amazed if he recoups his fee at this point.
Where has it been said he cost the same?He did start games and led the line - very badly, as it turned out.

Asgaard in that 8 role would be quality him and Rudoni would create so much and kill defences, Asgaard would also track back and do defensive duties too allowing Rudi to keep his free roleIdeally I'd like us to line up like this start of next year
New GK
MVE Thomas Kitching NEW LB
Grimes
New number 8 Rudoni
Saka NEW ST EMC
£10m-£15m spent on those 4 positions listed.

He’s a good player but USG are a moneyball team with links to Tony Bloom, we’d have to pay a massive premium for him. USG signed David from a Latvian team I’ve never heard of for 400k. Now if our scouting department is really on it, they’re the deals I‘d love to see.Promise David is a striker I would take a look at, playing in Belgium. 23, strong as an ox, likes the physical battle, pace, 21 goals in 39 games in all comps. Call me old fashioned, but if we’re going to spend £2m+ on a player, I’d hope to see some return on that investment before we hit the next US election cycle.Clueless
He's basically a kid who they think could be with the right coaching a very saleable asset. It may take time but no one expected him to be a first team star this season.
Give him a chance to actually develop before you spout nonsense like "dire signing".
Nah, I'll just call you clueless once again if that is okay with you?Call me old fashioned, but if we’re going to spend £2m+ on a player, I’d hope to see some return on that investment before we hit the next US election cycle.
Wouldn’t want anyone to think you’re going soft!Nah, I'll just call you clueless once again if that is okay with you?
If all you are getting for Sheaf is £3m you keep him for me.

Not good enough for what we needBeen looking at strikers who kinda fit the model of young, bigger forwards.
What about Josh Coburn, had a tough season with injuries but young lad, who can develop further and Boro apparently looking to sell?
is thinking it's stupid to right off a 20 year old kid hard? If so I'm Johnny Concrete.Wouldn’t want anyone to think you’re going soft!
Have you heard anything more on that striker btw?Armando Broja could be an interesting one...
“stupid to right off” is peak performance in action, this is why your legacy endures.is thinking it's stupid to right off a 20 year old kid hard? If so I'm Johnny Concrete.
A loan i assume we're talking? His wage must be enormous.Armando Broja could be an interesting one...

So you think the likes of Eccles, Binks, Lati, Allen, BTA, Simms will all stay? There won't be the massive turnover people think
We spent 17 million in the last 2 windowss without a big sale
I think we will see a couple of free agents of decent quality, and a loan until we start getting players out the door
