I know Bidwell gets a load of shit off people but he’s a solid defender still and back up LH central Defender is not the worst idea for certainThink that's exactly what he'll do if Milan is still here
Probably get pelters for this but why not shift Bidwell to the left centre half back up?
When he first came here he was better at Centre half then left back at the time. Hes very capable of playing thereBecause his positioning as a lb is horrendous let alone as a cb
Can he be worse than Binks tho?If Bidwell ends up playing any games at CB this year something has gone majorly wrong
Bidwell has played there before hasn’t he?Think that's exactly what he'll do if Milan is still here

Did you watch him last season ?When he first came here he was better at Centre half then left back at the time. Hes very capable of playing there
Wright being a back up seems mental to me personally, if that is the case, I’d rather sell him to bring in a winger and a striker.KKH and MVE, good RB depth. In a 4-3-3 formation that we would most likely use, I think one can play further forward to give Sakamoto a bit of rest time at times.
I do think it's most likely that Milan's off.
In response to Wright and EMC the former is technically a forward (apparently) so we needed another left winger. Lampard sees Wright more as a striker and not as a winger, I'd imagine EMC would play most of the games and Wright would be a back up striker if we bring another in. He probably won't be happy with that though so it's a matter of getting the right formation to fit all the best players into the team at the same time.
We did see Robins play him as a striker when he first arrived and he was a lightweight. Wouldn't use his strength and at times looked afraid of the opposition's centre backs. That's why he got shifted out wide.Let’s face it. While Robins was here we only seen Wright as LW, not a striker and we went and spent £4.5m on EMC to have both of them for one position. Let’s not rule out having both MVE and KKH. What a luxury position to be in if that’s what happens

How many Premier League clubs were in for KKH? he's not a ready made replacement, he might have the potential and attributes to grow into that but he may also be another Simms and still not living up to the potential 2 years down the line.Whilst I don’t disagree with the sentiment - part of our selling point to players like MVE is that we’ll develop him and put him in the shop window for bigger clubs or get promoted with him.
if we start pricing them out of moves other players will think twice before signing.
in terms of full backs - you’ve also go to look at who we’ve brought in as a replacement. By all accounts KKH is very much a great ready made replacement. Why would teams spend 15m when you can get similar for 3.5
no, not a chanceMilan will be gone this summer. I suspect we’d sell for as low as 7/8 million if we’re getting towards September and he’s still here.
He played nearly every game in the championship last year and swept the player of the year awards. He is his replacementHow many Premier League clubs were in for KKH? he's not a ready made replacement, he might have the potential and attributes to grow into that but he may also be another Simms and still not living up to the potential 2 years down the line.
Yea but to say he's proven to be as good MVE as a ready made replacement is rubbishHe played nearly every game in the championship last year and swept the player of the year awards. He is his replacement
How. He won play of the season at Preston and cost us 4.5m he’s clearly here as his replacementYea but to say he's proven to be as good MVE as a ready made replacement is rubbish
Full backs don’t go for big money generally speaking. KKH is supposed to be similar standard and he’s cost half of that and is 3 years younger. The plan will be to sell him.no, not a chance

we're not selling him on the cheapFull backs don’t go for big money generally speaking. KKH is supposed to be similar standard and he’s cost half of that and is 3 years younger. The plan will be to sell him.
What do you thinks a realistic price?we're not selling him on the cheap
There is no chance we are getting 15 million plus. You also can't claim he isn't better than Milan yet tho if you insist on comparing KKH has played for villas first teamYea it's Preston.
Not arguing he's not been bought as a replacement.
Just telling you based on their careers to this point he's not as good as the person he's replacing.
Hope we get 15 mill + now for MVE to reinvest in the rest of the squad
2bf we haven’t seen who’s in for MVE.How many Premier League clubs were in for KKH? he's not a ready made replacement, he might have the potential and attributes to grow into that but he may also be another Simms and still not living up to the potential 2 years down the line.
Why shouldn't he have as longer break as the rest?Im pleased with the signing of Brau but have slight niggling concerns already. It’s a step up level wise following a strong break through season for him in Spain and a move to a new country. I know the season ran into June but personally would have thought he’d have been there from the start of Pre-Season. I know he is entitled to a break but feel he will already be behind everyone else.
You also can't prove he isn't as good can you?Yea but to say he's proven to be as good MVE as a ready made replacement is rubbish
£12n + including add onsWhat do you thinks a realistic price?
Absolutely nothing unfortunately. Haven't for a few days now.Wright being a back up seems mental to me personally, if that is the case, I’d rather sell him to bring in a winger and a striker.
Heard anything on Dolan
Haven’t seen that, journo said I think yesterday talks were ongoing and decision was going to be made quick so maybe it’s trueAbsolutely nothing unfortunately. Haven't for a few days now.
Get topic back on track though, anything on the Belgian striker? There's stuff going round online saying we have agreed a £5.5 million transfer for him.
You tell us mate you’re the man in the knowAbsolutely nothing unfortunately. Haven't for a few days now.

Would be a lot wouldn’t it. Would have thought 10-12 with add ons would be the goal. Might lower it next year when he’s out of contract the following summer2022/23 season Burnley won the championship with 101 points they sold their RB Vitinho for £8m. He was 23 and played 35 league games that year.
Nobody is paying £15m for a 24 year old full back with no premier league experience.
