Callum O’hare and now Milan Van Ewijk this year but but but Sisu!
Callum O’hare was not our best player that year. Wright, Simms, Milan and Sheaf that were all better players. I would even put Sakamoto on a par or better, even though he was injured.
All of them stayed and are all still here.

O’Hare? That’s a reach mate. Was benched for Palmer if I’m not wrong his last season with usCallum O’hare and now Milan Van Ewijk this year but but but Sisu!

Wtf??? Callum O'hare wanted to go and fucked off on a free, and last time I looked MvE is still here, is still under contract, and won't be sold unless it's to improve the squad.Callum O’hare and now Milan Van Ewijk this year but but but Sisu!

So what's your point exactly?
And that's it each time gradually improvement. Sell a player in this discussion MVE and replace with KKH and another player for example Doyle. Overall team quality is improved. A couple of seasons sell KKH but keep improving the overall teamKing has said from day one that he sees the Brentford/Bournemouth model as the best way to operate. Scout and find the best players possible that will develop, sell them on for a profit and reinvest. Over time all being well you develop a strong squad to get promoted while making a decent turnover and ensuring you meet PSR.

Sisu would've took the first offer put on the table.
Thats a great signing. This will upset some… apparently that Kvistgaarden is going to Norwich

Yeh that did seem like a good one at the time.Hopefully as successful as when they signed van hooijdonk
And have owners putting hundreds of millions into the club.King has said from day one that he sees the Brentford/Bournemouth model as the best way to operate. 10-12 mil is excellent money. It's isn't small club talk it's just you are desperate not to sell him. This idea that 10-12 mill is good money for MVE is small club talk. Would want £15 mill plus for him.
Not arguing Palmer is better than O’Hare. Just arguing O’Hare wasn’t our best player in 23/24 (also wasn’t sold technically but left on a free)Interesting, where did they both end up last season? Think one finished third and the other in a relegation fight? Could be wrong
Whilst I don’t disagree with the sentiment - part of our selling point to players like MVE is that we’ll develop him and put him in the shop window for bigger clubs or get promoted with him. This idea that 10-12 mill is good money for MVE is small club talk. Would want £15 mill plus for him.
So you moan we don't keep our best players then moan we spend on a back up whilst keeping our best players. Which argument do you want to pick? What relevance is the fact it was a free transfer? We still failed to keep him?
If MVE stays then we’ve just blown 4m on a back up right back, which is probably worse than him leaving. More delusion.
I’m so glad King turned up because Sisu would have sold Gyokeres and Hamer in the same window. They wouldn’t have even replaced Hamer in the window… oh wait
I think there is a scenario where MVE stays at the club this summer. Obviously there is a lot of interest in him, but the club aren’t under pressure to sell MVE.KKH is a good player. He’s been added to our squad. That’s a good things whether MVE stays or goes. As for O’Hare being our best player that’s utter tosh.

Would be interesting to see from FL’s perspective that should the window close and we still have MVE, how would Lampard fit both into his system. We’ve seen MVE can play further forward and KKH can play on the left too.
Because he’s too slow and not a centre half but beyond that ….Think that's exactly what he'll do if Milan is still here
Probably get pelters for this but why not shift Bidwell to the left centre half back up?
They don’t but if they did it wouldn’t matter as that isn’t counted into PSR as it’s not turnover. We also have to obey by PSR and I’d rather than model than a Hull situation or Sheff Wed. We’ve been there done that and failed before, wasn’t quite pouring money in but being badly run took us from the Prem to League 2.And have owners putting hundreds of millions into the club.
Because his positioning as a lb is horrendous let alone as a cbThink that's exactly what he'll do if Milan is still here

Both clubs have spent hundreds of millions to get where they are. The idea that we’re following their models is just ridiculous. They don’t but if they did it wouldn’t matter as that isn’t counted into PSR as it’s not turnover. It's the same as everyone praising Brighton's model where their owner has put in over £300m.Both clubs have spent hundreds of millions to get where they are. The idea that we’re following their models is just ridiculous.
