Wasnt there suggestions he was unhappy with his playing time near the end of last year, and Lampard wasn't overly keen on himIt’s then replacing him - unless we have that ready to go then why would you let JE leave. Guess that changes if he pushes it because of game time perhaps.
but again, learning under Lampard for another season, that would do him world of good.

I like JL - especially attitude wise, however he’s limited to really playing centre half in a 3 due to his pace.Add Lati to MRs shopping list please
BTA a proven champ striker but Eccles an average championship player...Can't see anyone offering £5m for Eccles, he's 25 so likely little resale value in 2-3 years. He's an average championship player, so you're looking at bottom half sides looking to consolidate, seems expensive to me.
