Sheffield United are probably in the driving seat for that one.

And they are changing their manager.

They opted to play a midfielder at right back rather than play Gilchrist. I doubt he’s top of their recruitment list.

Think we might need to get rid of one, and possibly recruit 2 ?

It's strange but I think I commented on Torp and the Extra durability he found since Lampard came in and I don't think he had been frail, certainly not the last one anyway, pretty sure he'd upped it and was completed games where he started?

The hard yards are done by Austin and King not Lampard. Frank will still be taking calls / video meetings on holiday trying to move deals along. This is not 1990. Deals take time, and deals where we are trying to punch above our weight take even more time.

The thing is with the summer window you go weeks with no confirmed signings, and very little informed speculation then July appears and you seem to be watching you tube videos of a different new signing every week or so …. That’s when the excitement for the new season starts to really build I think.

I've been told we are replacing Brad Collins but were not buying a GK, instead DK is promoting the tea lady but he feels sorry for Brad so is going to let him stay on, heard we were going to have Brad swap with Doris during the week but Frank's worried Collins might drop the kettle valid worry I'd say

Some rumours on Norman going off on loan to Belgium next season.

“
Norman Bassette, the Belgian striker of Coventry City, is in the sights of Standard Liège and Anderlecht.

Norman Bassette had started his adventure at Coventry City well, but his playing time has greatly decreased since the arrival of Frank Lampard as coach. After scoring two goals at the beginning of the season, he completely disappeared from the base eleven from January and played only about twenty minutes between February and April.
The 20-year-old Belgian feels good in Coventry and the club's management appreciates his commitment. But if the club recruits offensive reinforcements in the coming weeks, Bassette could consider temporarily going elsewhere to get more playing time.
This is where Belgian clubs could have a card to play. The Standard of Liège leaves with a slight advantage: in his youth, Bassette was a subscriber to Sclessin and still dreams of wearing the red and white jersey one day. According to La Dernière Heure, the Standard has recently inquired about his situation.
Anderlecht is also following him closely. Coach Besnik Hasi has already worked with him on loan to KV Malines. At that time, Bassette had scored five goals and shown his potential.
Bassette is currently on vacation, but he hopes to have a real chance to prove himself during the summer preparation with Coventry in July.”

I still maintain if we treat him right and develop him well, NB could go on to be our next record sale.

Clearly technically very talented, also clearly very rough around the edges, but he's showing all the signs of someone who with the right support could go to the top of the game. And he's got a bit of that DAWG in him - some fight and shithousery I think our team sorely needs.

I don’t know a lot about the Belgian top flight but assume it’s worse quality than the championship?

The majority of our fan base wanted Jake Bidwell as player of the season and we’re desperate for us to sign Matty James.

If he goes it’s a short term business decision because we haven’t moved Simms on.

You can’t have Simms as 3rd choice striker, it’s collapsing the value of an acquisition. So it forces you to move the Belgian who’ll need minutes, even though Lampard would probably have him ahead of Simms.

But to call a Belgian international, way off, is simply wrong

He played about 1 minute in a friendly. He was only called up as they weren't going to play him for the under 21s in that same week. Equivalent of giving a club legend a sub appearance in his final game.
