You're not selling him as a FB or WB with those observations.

Find it weird we were so close with Rabbi Matondo in January (thereby signalling we felt we needed a direct alternative at RW) and we have instead ended down a winger (2 if you include Paterson).

This to me signals something is still happening from the free market and also will stretch us hence so many out on loan

Defence seems fine now but we really do lack depth in midfield and upfront. i guess you could have Rudoni play in Totp’s role if needed, but the revisionism around the forward players like BTA and Simms after the common consensus they should be moved on is pretty crazy.

BTA is basically our “cover” in every position which isn’t great.

It’s desperate but i’d genuinely consider getting in Emmanuel Dennis and Iannis Hagi

Brau, KKH and MVE are not wingers.

I'm sure EMC played across the front three at Peterborough so he's an option as cover

If Haji and EMC are out injured for a period of time (likely, based last season), then we have BTA, Saka & Simms as the front 3. with the option of playing MVE, KKH or Brau further forward. If Frank signed a winger on loan which presumably would be from the premier league, like Ayari there will be demands of game time. Can understand why King doesn't like loans. I think Frank may be looking at a Jamie Patterson style signing. Giving us that option off the bench. Tom Lawrence has been mentioned. The only youngsters coming through are already out on loan, so there has to be somebody lined up surely.

BTA Simms Sakamoto with a defender as back up is atrocious.

Sakamoto... If Haji Wright's shot is an inch or two lower, we win 3-2.

We should have scored 4. Attacking doesn’t appear to be an issue based on the last 3 games anyway. Our issue is defending. If we can keep clean sheets, we will do well.

Should have won that game 6-1. On another day the linesman would of allowed one of the 2 offside goals in the first half ( they both were), the MVE volley, EMC's chance on half time, Rudoni shot cleared off the line. And, of course the Haji one at the end.

No pace? I’ve heard a lot of things about Dasilva’s supposed deficiencies, many of which were fair. While he might not quite have MVE’s electric speed, he’s not slow. Brau looks quite heavy-legged in comparison but FL has still played him LW.

I do agree that Dasilva might lack something you’d want in a winger. Technically good but not many tricks and perhaps not aggressive enough.
