Ipswich looked so sharp because players were able to rotated. A player like Jack Clarke was brought into their starting 11 from the bench on Boxing Day. EMC not starting against Charlton was telling imo - Lampard has mentioned a few times that we’ve had to limit minutes at times.

It'd be a waste paying millions on players that might not make the step up. Fill this window with loans, get over the line, then pump £100m in to the squad with PL quality.
