I know they are pie in the sky but if we are paying £5m for Manneh I'd be happy avoiding him for now and dumping the £5m on quality loans like George and Ferguson to get us over the line.

Yeah for the first time in a long time the club needs to go short term focus rather than long. Don't care if we blow millions on expensive loans now.

I think Doug might be reluctant but hopefully he sees this as too big of an opportunity to pass up.
