He's outscored his xG this year by a significant margin. His championship career average is converting ~89% of his xG into goals, this season it's 127%. I agree with the improvement.Doesn't come into it for me. He's 28 with 18 months on his contract and I don't think he's progressed over his time here. It's a risk, but if we got a decent offer and had a strong replacement ready I'd understand the thinking. I'd rather we keep things steady and see him hit form but if not, I'd get it.

I got pelters from some for suggesting we need 4 in in Jan. Seems like mood is changing. I really don't think it would be over the top to want upgraded cover for Grimes/Torp, 2 attacking options and a worthy LB option, I said it before Bidwells game is too far removed from Dasilva and Brau is a wingback at best. 1 signing and 3 loans could do it.
