Arguably - but probably on silly wages already, plus they'll want silly money re: transfer fee.

Have to be careful with Castledine imo, Louie Barry was smashing league one as well and can barely get a kick in the championship.

Wouldn't mind him as a development player in the background getting run outs when the squad is depleted but we need players ready to go to bolster our promotion hopes.

The fitness aspect are things that can be improved on easily and something FL would demand. Its just takes time at the training facility working with the conditioning coach and the desire of the individual to get fittery stronger to get playing minutes.

What cant be coached is the natural attributes he has with the ball. He looks like he has good field awareness, good touch and a bit of pace about him. All those attributes can be improved on but not coached. If he is an option then loan to buy would be a perfect situation if its not him then the type of player with his background is what i expect the club to be looking at.

I think he'd be a good purchase not just because he's an AM, but he's a different type of AM to what we've already got. Seems more like a CoH type that gets the ball and runs with it.

I am getting 'plays like Carlton Palmer' vibes.

I always liked Carlton even though he divided opinion because his style looked a little awkward. You don't get 18 England caps by being shit he brought something.

A good comp tbf. Runs like a baby giraffe but eats up ground and makes a lot of tackles.

We need an out and out right winger, a versatile forward who can play in the 10 and I wouldnt be against another midfielder.

Torp looks dead on his feet and was atrocious tonight.

We have done so well this first half of the year but we are almost at the petrol station with 5 miles in the tank.

We need to sack that FA Cup game off, take the break and sign reinforcements.

We have no quality depth options in attack.

Need wingers, AM and ST

Honestly he should have been brave and started Eccles and Simms

We need to be able to drop Rudoni who is totally out of form and slowing us down. He has been since his return from injury so id take someone who can cover 10 and the wing.

He’s not dead on his feet. He lacks two yards of pace and that was exposed by a slick Ipswich midfield tonight.

We have to sign 2/3 players, it’s make or break this window

We should ideally have at least 1 ready to go as soon as the window opens.

I’m hoping it’s Neil, I’m grimes biggest fan but he’s been way off it. Needs a break

Yes Neil would be fantastic and could replace Grimes or Torp if needed

We need a winger who can cover both sides, a left back and cover for Grimes. Also, if West Ham want to offer us silly money for Wright then we should definitely consider it.

It's mad that it's nearly 2026 and we're still bringing Jamie Allen off the bench to try and change a game.

Hopefully we've got a couple of deals ready to go early in the window.

I know Doug has branded the £200m figure around if anyone wants Haji and fair fucks to him for doing so. But honestly, if West Ham came in early enough in the the window to be able to replace him, right now id take £20m never mind the 200. If he's not in a game, not receiving the ball in areas he wants it, how he likes it, he just goes missing. Hes either really good, or really shit. There's no inbetween. If we're gonna make this final push over the line, we need better than him and Simms. Plenty of us said this in August and were called bedwetters.

I said in the summer Wright wasnt good enough, I still say it now Wright isnt good enough, he certainly wont be good enough if we do go up next season. Pl defenders will have a field day with him. Can you imagine VVD vs Wright? I said we should've signed Bamford, FL agreed, Doug said no. The only hope for him saying no is because we've had a striker lined up ready to sign in Jan? I sure fucking hope so, because "only good when he can be arsed Wright" isnt the answer.

Pay Brighton whatever they want for Rushworth. Bloke is the best keeper in the league and getting better.
