Don't think we'll shop in the relegated Prem market tbh. The half decent ones are grossly overpriced and the rest just belongs in The Championship.

I could see us getting a couple with expiring contracts.

Rico Henry, Cerkin and Malacia all available on a free end of the season interest me

Malacia is on my ‘list’ but Man Utd have a 1-year option so wouldn’t be free.

James Ward-Prowse. I really thought that strange obsession was dead.

I rarely notice opposition players except maybe the winger immediately in front of where i sit but Galbraith really caught the eye. Seemed to be everywhere

I'm not saying they will be relegated? But they are all available on a free at the end of the year

I think they paid £1.5mil for him from Leyton Orient which probably tells us something.
Looked quality and I wouldn’t be averse to us buying him if we go up or not.

Fair. I was talking about relegated players so crossed wires. I agree our best chance (and most affordable) of getting some Prem experience is in the free transfer market.

Ward-prowse is done and not what we need but they are semi-realistic with at least some of those players. Although it is pretty clear forest will pull clear if you ask me so can rule those out.

If we could take a punt on a wide player from the championship I’d take Mikey Johnston from WBA.

Serious pace & would add quality width to our wings. I’d dare say there’s no chance of that happening though

Next season if we go up we will be in a position to unsettle players like Hughes at Hull if we want them or Johnstone at WBA.

WBA fans would drive him to us, they were glad to be almost rid of him last summer.

There was a time not long ago during our struggles, Norwich would come and take our best player and we could not refuse the money. Would be nice to go get Sargeant who must be pondering how it's all turning out for him this season. Top striker, team mate of Wright and would be a great addition to get us over the line. He scores goals. He will want away and have the chance of promtion again.

8 assists this season, I’d happily take that output on our wings to help see us over the line this season. Tom Fellows was sold by Albion for £15m and his output was 13/14 last year… also made us look daft a couple of times over last few seasons!

When BTA was first injured, Lampard said he would be out at least six weeks. Six is the best case scenario. Reading between the lines, I get the feeling (without any information to confirm it), end of January. Lampard usually says when a player is back on the grass, and you spot them on the Unseen videos. Not very near yet, I would guess.

Definite happenings according to posters on here.
What happened to the Championship winger we were signing?
Manneh was almost a done deal. Since his league finished a while ago, if it is plain sailing, as claimed, he should be here shortly.
Fingers crossed.

If the rumors of the Portuguese lad, Castledine have anything in them i would of thought we would see them happening quickly.

The Manneh deal is obviously not a rumor and that would be another id expect to be announced early. But we have to just wait and see because im sure Doug and DA have worked hard on players and FL would of been involved at some point.

Would love us to sign Louza but expect him to be too expensive, if we go up then he's the type of player I can see stepping up that level and would look at him in the summer.

Got a feeling Lampard might target Scienza in the summer

I think FL like Hackney and Scienza but i would be looking at the wide players at Watford if prem is the destination. You need physicality and pace all over the field and have to compete for every ball if staying in there is the aim.

You have to earn the right to play in games and to stay you have to do the same.

Watford has Baah, a powerful and pacey winger.

Hackney would would be better a cracking signing for the prem

Its a funny old perspective game, football. Huddersfield fans were happy to see the back of Rudoni. In the summer, the majority on here (myself included) would've happily given BTA a piggy back anywhere in the country to see the back of him.

Players come in and out of form. Sometimes a club doesnt fit a player and vice-versa, and sometimes a move to a new environment brings out the very best in a player (Akpom at Boro, never been any good anywhere else, 1 season wonder). Other times, they are just awful players that seem to make a decent career somehow.

Everyone has different ideas on what makes a good player aswell. Most on here called Moore a carthorse leading up to the Wrexham game and said he was shit. Most said theyd not have him here as he's shit. Hes currently joint second highest scorer in the league, in an average, overpriced, overpaid squad.
