No one is going to pay £10 million for Ellis Simms

If and I say if a premier league club believe Simms can help keep them in the league they will drop £10m on him without blinking.

If a prem club wants him I don't see why we'd take any less

£10m is pennies for them.

West Ham are not paying 10 million for Ellis Simms to get them out of a relegation scrap in the premier league.

They paid £27m for Füllkrug and I would take Simms over him.

You'd take Ellis Simms over a full German international...

Christmas has started early in your household then

Just an opinion.

I don’t like slow lumbering forwards who are rarely fit. If you do then fair enough.

Armstrong is playing in the Chsmpionship. I’ll give you that he’s not the best but he does have ability. You just can’t play at that level without something

Armstrong caught my eye when Bristol played us a few weeks ago. As it turns out, that must have been a special occasion for him

On maybe a dozen occasions against us he disproved that. I can remember him taking the ball nicely on his chest a couple of times, he hit a fine shot on the turn, he hit the post from an angle, he had a goal marginally ruled out, he ran intelligently into spaces, he held the ball up and brought people into play, he played a great crossfield ball, he beat Thomas on the run by neatly flicking the ball over his head...

But I'll defer to your superior footballing brain.

But not to most football fans. It’s not clear at all, it is handball via a subsection of the rules. Accidental handball all day long, unless he directly scores a goal from it.

I'm not sure a out this, showing a mercenary trait at this stage of the season in the position we are leaves a bad taste, we've given him a shop window to display his wares not impressed unless he announces he's signed his deal pronto, and now for Simms well we've seen in recent weeks and he gets frozen out again!

Wolves maybe, I'm fairly sure this is just a tactic to unsettling rumours exercise from them rather than genuine interest, dirty behaviour really unless agent's are whipping it up!

If George is a genuine target and signed it would be such a smart pick up. Its an position we need and is a player of the right age and at a point in his career when he needs to kick on. I like the names being mentioned and would be happy with George and Castledine who has also been mentioned from Chelsea as a potential target.

Going to be a interesting Jan and by the end of it we may have plenty of pace and attacking options in the squad.
