Not break cos obviously we could follow it up by beating Boro. But would notch up the worry level

We have great home form. If we continue that then it would be dumb to say promotion is extremely unlikely

Also bad form doesn't last forever. It's crazy people think we're just gonna continue to lose for rest of season

Of course bad form can last forever, else how do teams get relegated? its getting to the stage where nobody can say with certainty that the good form was actually our true form

You don't think then that other managers may have sussed out that Lampard plays in only one way ?

The Boro game is massive.

We've only been beaten by Ipswich, Burnley and Leeds at home in the last two seasons.

That's why Ive just said on the match thread, we could do with 1 or 2 faces through before 6pm Monday to shake things up a bit.
Exactly, whilst we try and turn this away form around just keep doing what wev‘e been doing at home, right about the signings need at least one good signing in, worrying thing is defence was struggling last season so we went and got grimes and fixed it, fast forward and it looks like we need the same again,

Paying 8m for a centre mid will make fuck all difference unless we change how we set up and how we deal with taking the lead.

We’ll get turned over by Boro, defence is shambolic and we can’t see to create chances like we used to

The meltdown will be far worse if we lose to Oxford, which at the minute is more likely than not

I do think we may well have to wheel and deal and let players go, we probably weren't looking to to let go, just to enable other things to happen.

If offers come in for our players on Monday, we need to at least consider them, if it means we could strengthen elsewhere, or bring in 2 for 1.

No,.I think you're right.

The chances of moving that quickly are very remote, unless there has been something brewing under the surface anyway.

Yeah, bad form won't last forever, but the niggling thing is that we are winning at home and losing away. Kind of points to us doing something wrong away in the way we set up doesn't it?

I do think that's what's frustrating a lot of fans.

Something is inherently wrong in how we are going about away games.

We need to pick up some points away from home to take the pressure off the home games. We can't expect to win everyone of those.

Beat Oxford, and mboro are away at sheff Utd on the Monday, as daft as it sounds it could be a 6 point gap if we beat mboro,it’s going down to the wire, fuck me if your nervous now it’s only going to get worse, plenty of twists yet,

I'm not so sure we're a different team at home and I think the team will be ready and up for this game because it's a game that could instill that confidence again and be the kick-start required.

Wrexham signed Conor Coady in the summer for £2m, he played 5 games and they’ve realised he’s not the guy and loaned him out. If they feel Woolf is not the guy they should have done the same if we really wanna get promoted. Wrexham are going for it

Why doesnt it? It would push him on further and he doesnt have to cover the gap between the CBs and there will always be 3 back when the fullbacks inevitably bimble back

Now he can actually sit in position in the midfield and recieve it from the CBs and create triangles higher up the pitch like he was doing earlier in the season, it also allows him to drive the ball forward creating quicker transitions, again like he did earlier in the season

thats not his game. He has never been a player to drive the ball forward. He never did that at the start of the season so bit confused what you are on about

I think he prob played a bit higher up for Swansea, even Lampard mentioned he’d like to see him further up, but we brought him in to protect our back 4, said before I don’t think we’ve seen what he can actually do yet, too busy covering our centre halves

Swansea fans were critical that he just passed sideways. He played the same tehre

His spraying passes and cut back crosses into the box for flick ons which is where we've had a lot of our success this season has disappeared.
The goals from throw ins etc have stopped.
The change in play has been like night and day and we need to get back to these types of things.

Yeah, remember when we signed him, weren’t bitter at all where they, he’s still class for us, you reckon we can fix this away form,

even I’m starting to think that, longer it goes on, West Brom next away and they’ve been shocking, we’ll fix that for them

Anyway, somehow technically there’s still a 6 point gap to 3rd, hopefully at least one in by Monday and you never now, might be all we need, staying Positive, but it’s getting harder

He definitely has the ability to drive the ball, there was many times at the start of the season where he carried it a good 5 yards then passing it off progressing it forwards, he is more than capable of it. He can also dictate the tempo a lot easier if he’s a part of the midfield rather than the defence.
The passing triangles at the start of the season most of the time involved Grimes, since he’s had to drop deeper and act as more of a covering role we have no rhythm to our play, are very predictable and often struggle to play our way up the pitch quickly
