But to me we've made the best signing this window so far with Esse. Before his signing we had a very good 1st team and squad. We're nearly back at full strength with a side that took the p1ss for the 1st half of the season.
We're in a much better position than some people on here would like you to believe. Nearly half a point per remaining game above Ipswich and Middlesborough are not as good as their results suggest.
But does it need to be? We’re clear at the top of the league and we’ve got almost our complete squad fit. We were never going to spend like Ipswich, Wrexham or Birmingham. I’d rather be us than themTbh I thought we would have made a statement signing by now. Not saying the loans we have got in are bad signings as we defo needed depth, just saying this is the biggest opportunity to achieve prem football since 2001 and that hasn’t really been reflected in terms of the transfer activity.
