Funnily enough, kitching is excellent at switching play.OK memes and trolling aside I would prefer Hamer assuming he is capable of playing, which he clearly is because I think we lack his ability to switch play and his ability to quickly transition the team from defence to attack both of which we’ve lacked since he left. I don’t think we just need someone with legs and if we did I’d promote Eccles first. I also don’t think we need a destroyer, that’s Grimes an another more defensive mid wouldn’t help us.
If we are dropping Torp we need a right footed set piece taker, which Hamer is and a better one than Torp.
He ticks all the boxes for me. Onyeka doesn’t.
I think we'd benefit from the Onyeka profile but if Doug is feeling generous i'm not saying no to both. Just go for it now, fuck it.OK memes and trolling aside I would prefer Hamer assuming he is capable of playing, which he clearly is because I think we lack his ability to switch play and his ability to quickly transition the team from defence to attack both of which we’ve lacked since he left. Love this chant... like the Michael Doyle Liam Kelly one.. can go on for hours and the players love it
Ah, love a good Sportsboom "rumour"
West Ham recruitment model seems to be 'Who do Coventry have'
I don't think one year has passed when others were saying about him... get what we paid for him & I'll drive him there myself!£250,000,000 and I’ll drive him there myself.
Mate please don’t even bother engaging with the scruffy clown , let him argue with himself in his bedsit. Never known someone as embarrassing as @shmmeeeOn what evidence has Onyeka failed and can't step up?
He's played more games there than Hamer
Hamer and slim shockIts a possibility yes. Doug would see it as a massive coup and wants it
Id say slim though. Let's be honest if he really wanted to come back, he would, and it doesnt exactly seem like hes pushing for it
He is actually other than Grimes and now probably Rushy the player we can ill afford to lose the most6 months ago, most would be happy to see him leave for next to nothing. It's mental how much better he has got in such a short spell. His new position has been a revelation.
It's almost as if Strikers depend on confidence and have fluctuations in form throughout their careers........ I wonder if anyone else has ever noticed that6 months ago, most would be happy to see him leave for next to nothing. It's mental how much better he has got in such a short spell. TBF to Hamer though he wasn't a fat knacker while he was here and was probably one of the fittest players at the club. If he did come back under Lampard and Chris Jones I'd be hopeful he'd rediscover that. It seems like there is a bit of indiscipline at Sheffield Utd, Campbell up front is similar. It's clearly his fitness, by professional footballer standards he's an absolute fat knacker. It's a shame as he's incredibly talented. I don't know why this triggers so many on here as if you're calling their mum fat, it's a bit weird tbh.
I'd have him back for a reasonable price mind.
Are they referring to Gus on the bottom comment about clapping the fans ?
I was his biggest critic at the start of the season, but have eaten a very large portion of humble pie. He needs to be starting now, ahead of Rudoni. He makes Haji Wright a better player, tooHe is actually other than Grimes and now probably Rushy the player we can ill afford to lose the most
We are twice the side when he is on the pitch in my opinion
If he did come back under Lampard and Chris Jones I'd be hopeful he'd rediscover that.

Hamer has been playing further forward in the Championship at Sheff U. For the nostalgia and clear Championship quality, it’s a no brainer. Tom Williams off then? Odd to sign a left back for the 21s when we've got one who played for England currently in the 18s.Left back signed
I agree, i think Wilder pretty much lets them do what they want.TBF to Hamer though he wasn't a fat knacker while he was here and was probably one of the fittest players at the club. Dream signing. I think Watford probably hold tight until the summer though tbh.If we could convince Doug to spend the money I’d go for Louza but I think one of the bigger PL clubs would be in for him but just read this and surely we can compete?

Imran Louza is on Kieran McKenna's radar as the final week of the transfer window approachesfootballleagueworld.co.uk
Hamer can obviously play alongside Grimes? He played mostly in a 2 behind an attacking mid for us?Hamer has been playing further forward in the Championship at Sheff U. For the nostalgia and clear Championship quality, it’s a no brainer. If it’s on, why not?
However, if anyone thinks we’re putting Hamer alongside Grimes at CM playing as we do… I’ve got bridge to sell them. Rudoni’s defensive numbers are much stronger and I wouldn’t put him at CM.
A player like Matisuwa is what this team needs at that CM role and Onyeka is good profile for this position. Ideally, I’d love to pick up a younger player than him but he’s a player that’ll come in, be a league leading player and be able to be a good squad in the Prem.
Is it a ‘dream signing?’ Louza is undoubtedly one of, if not the best CM in the league, but his role and Grimes are identical.Dream signing. I think Watford probably hold tight until the summer though tbh.
Why has no one from the PL bought him then?
Nevertheless they've bagged 16pts in their last 10 matches one more than City.I agree, i think Wilder pretty much lets them do what they want.
