Weirdly, when I just looked him up I was surprised to see he only played 6 games for us. He was all over my CCFC manual when I was a kid and I will never forget that stupid haircut.

Another mental stat - In the last 24 years he has managed 22 clubs. The bloke must move house practically every year.

My only slight worry is Torp struggled his first half season as he’d just played a full season. But if this lad is only doing bits and pieces to start it shouldn’t be so bad.

I'm pretty sure he left because they (amazingly) couldn't find a french language school in the area for his kids.

In retrospect given Dublin was sold by October that year, we should have held on to him and tried to sell Dublin over that summer.
