Might as well get this one started now as it seems not much happened in the summer transfer window

Reckon we should go in for that Sheaf from Wrexham now they're relegated

If they are relegated by the start of January they've had a stinker

Woolfenden from Ipswich would be worth looking at, not sure if anyone has mentioned him before

i’ll save us all some time and summarise

first 2 weeks “we have 2 weeks of the window remaining just chill out”

countless bids rjeected for well under a players value

final week of the window “there’s countless spinning plates, we will get someone in”

deadline day “yeah but we bought the stadium in the summer”

There will be a major overhaul next Summer regardless of the outcome this season. I don't see MVE, Rudoni and Haji staying unless we are promoted, which would leave lots of work to bring in suitable replacements. If we do go up however we would probably have to spend like Sunderland have done to give ourselves any kind of chance in the PL.

only joking, but do you not think the clubs in the best place it’s ever been in years. Id of loved to have brought 3 or 4 proper quality players in to give us a top squad, but we’re doing it in a sensible way, we own the ground, that‘ll bring in more money so we can probably get the better quality players in we need, just enjoy where we are mate, we’ll get there

We are, but I dont see why we couldnt have got in 1/2 options even on loan to bolster the squad.

We will raise a lot of dosh next summer - by a lot I mean circa £25 million (conservative guess for the 3 players mentioned above) - the problem is we have to replace top end Championship players with others who can be equally good, not remotely easy for any club. As you say it will be a summer of huge change for certain whether we go up or stay in the Championship.

Agreed, it felt to me 2 signings short of the perfect summer.

Same, never understand why we don’t get loans in, got Some stick off someone on here for saying we’ve got no money, i didn’t say that I said we have to sell before we can buy, if this transfer window doesn’t show that not sure what will,

Anyway back on topic, if we get the quality we did last January we’ll be more than happy

Head has clearly been turned, it’s obvious we’ll be back in for him in January……wonder if we’ll get him for cheaper. In a perfect world, we keep doing well and they do shit then he pushes for it

Give them Lati plus cash, Rak-Sakyi in for RW and look to the European market for LW cover

Think sakyi has gone out on loan? As bad as they are saying hughes is playing he’s an upgrade on what we have now.

On loan but I'm sure if they are offered a good cash deal they would recall him and then get him off the books, we were in for him deadline mate so there's a deal to be made

Yeah could be, thing I don’t get with hughes is why didn’t he push for the move in the summer if he’s downing tools now?

He was our number 1 target all summer, it’s clear how highly rated he is. Would probably be our first signing if we went up lol. Deffo think a deal is there to be done in Jan if they carry on doing shit and we’re up there. We had 3 bids rejected for him?

He could of been but the owner wouldn't budge so maybe he's making a point, who knows mate but will be interesting to see what happens on that front

Yeah, unavoidable to an extent with ages and contract lengths. If we're still in this league, MVE and Rudoni are worth extending and might agree to new deals. Haji, tough one to call.

Think a wide player would be more of a priority.

Centre back from Denmark or Norway. Wide player we have never heard of (Mystic Blunted).
