I think if we were to move from Hummel, I’d like Umbro. Seem to make good quality kits and have interesting designs. Could start by remaking the sky blue striped home and yellow away

Reebok have started making a foray into the football market again, believe they are making Charlton Athletic's new kits

To be honest I just wish Hummel embroidered our badge. Sound silly but what they do just peels off. Even if it was rubber like the third kit this year

The 87 cup final kit is probably closer to Sheffield Wednesday colours than anything. I like that we can vary both on colour and scheme though , I like QPR's traditional colours for example but they don't offer much in the way of variety

Teams like, Aston Villa, West Ham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Juventus, Barcelona and many others are very consistent in the colours used on main shirt. Which I like.

The variety and experimentation comes in the change strip.

Arsenal deviated from it one year and the burgundy kit they did to commemorate leaving Highbury is my favourite non-CCFC football strip of all time, stunning

Or silk screen it into the fabric (like a lot of rugby teams do). What let's Hummel down is the stick on badges and chevrons. It cheapens the shirts and over time makes them look awful.

That was a nod to a historic kit they had before what is now accepted as their traditional kit.

After the two-tone shirt and how well it sold Dave Boddy tied us in to quite a long deal with them when he was here iirc, no idea how long is left on it though

Hopefully now we are a bit more of a desirable club to be partnered with again if we returned to one of the big names we would have unique kits designed for us as opposed to template ones like we got with Nike and Puma
Unless you’re an “elite” team, all you’re getting is basic templates and split tier kits with the bigger brands. Macron would be the only one who would put in a bit of effort for us. With Hummel you get fully bespoke, player spec kits for less than 60 quid and record sales year on year. No brainer for me

Would love to see adidas. Errea aren’t too bad, castore are good. Even Nike and Puma have improved.

Hummel got dull ages ago.

Don't think it matters which manufacturer we're with, they are all prone to the odd stinker. Puma kits are naff in the main, but this season's port vale kit is just about the nicest shirt I've ever seen.

Problem with Hummel is the quality across the range, it's awful.

Only would want adidas if we were getting bespoke. Not a fan of the templates they produce.

Castore quality is worse than Hummels if you can believe it.

It’s a non league shout as they don’t produce for a league club. But always like Hope and Glory’s kits

One thing we have to realise and accept, is we don't actually generate many sales compared to some other teams. If you look at the big sports clothing brands, whether it is team shirts or general sports gear, Coventry City is still small beer despite our recent crowd and season ticket increases. We may not be insignificant but we won't be a priority either.

A lot of the factories actually producing this stuff probably produce stuff for several big brands. Not just sports companies but supermarket fashion ranges as well

100% agree but that’s only targeting the big sporting brands/mainstream. If you go for some middle brand we could be one of the highest profiles they have.

Take some rugby clubs, the quality of their shirts can surpass the likes of Hummel. But I suspect the cost of producing each item is higher than using a bigger brand. So the club probably gets a bigger margin from someone like Hummel and is why they are with them

Denmark Women 25/26 - both Hummel. Could be this design. I’d take a collar all day long

Villa experiment quite a lot.

They have everything from claret kits with blue trim to claret and blue stripes, and most things inbetween.

I'd say Barcelona have messed about a bit, different shades as well as the occasional flirt with halves/checks/hoops/weird fades/the flag thing

The brands that produce school sports kits would be better than Castore.

If we were to leave Hummel, think Kappa would be who I'd realistically want.
Adidas do nice kits and seem to be taking over, but it's just the same templates.

Or we could go full Wellesbourne market and go Emporio Armani like Napoli

Kappa produced some nice stuff for Hull last season, especially the coach's coat/parka. I've no idea what the quality is like though.
