I suspect that is right given how much we paid for EMC, although like with Simms Robins might want to give him time to adapt. Torp isn’t a a CDM.
I think Torp could be a big player for us this season but if he is it will be as an 8. I’m still not convinced we will play with a 10 this season, it could well be 2 8’s.

I would imagine at the moment the 3 would be Eccles holding with Sheaf and Rudoni in front .well I assume his comments about Rapha plus Saka having had so long out mean there’s a good chance Rapha starts, and Rudoni / Torp and EMC / Rudoni are probably the only other question marks, but sure, why not?

I'm not getting into the Eccles argument and I suppose we are starting to buy players to add to squad depth . See Rodriguez , Binks, Torp and EMC as examples of that . I know it's not what we've been used to for many years but if we are going to get promoted it won't be with free transfers and loaneesif that’s the case then surely it’s Sheaf holding with Torp and Rudoni, but then what’s the point of spending money on a top quality left forward / 10 to sit on the bench?

We're going to have 4 good options and Robins will play whoever is freshest to keep our high tempo upif that’s the case then surely it’s Sheaf holding with Torp and Rudoni, but then what’s the point of spending money on a top quality left forward / 10 to sit on the bench?
