That’s an awful start.

At least we’re at home on Boxing Day and last game of the season.

Surprise surprise. The leaked fixture list was just a virgin prancing about.

Not the worst first game given they'll lose most their players and not necessarily have replaced all of them. Rest of Aug looks tough but last season taught us its not all about getting off to a fast start

I remember the days (1st Division / Premier League) when we used to always start well and then start dropping by Mid Sept. We were top of the 'new' Premier League in 1992 after winning out first 3.

Forget September the 1st - with that august we need a squad in August 5th

It's a good point. Wasn't as pressured to get it all done by open of the season, but think that draw maybe makes that quicken up a bit more.

All games in this league are hard , a sold out boisterous away section at every away game makes it a bit easier but as we all know it a relentless division

The opening 5 or 6 games are always all over the place form wise for all teams every season. Takes a while for things to settle down. Last season's form means nothing.

Yep, Fadz and Kelly passed it . Palmer injured again. O'Hare not ready. Doug should of sold Vik to Sporting instead of holding out and Robins clueless

I didn’t think the new TV deal kicked off until next season? 3 games on the first Sunday seems unprecedented with the current TV deal.

I know it's only on paper, but that looks a lot harder than last season's doesn't it.

True, now I think about it they usually show some on the Saturday. Just weird to have three TV games on a Sunday. Also our third year in a row of starting the season on the Sunday, yawn.

Don't forget the transfer window doesn't close until Sep 1st, so there's every possibility they'll start the season with some/most of them.

They had one job. Make Plymouth away at a desirable time of year and on a weekend.

Wednesday February 14th.

That first month for us is incredibly tough, guess we'll see very quickly where we are ..also gives us chance to beat some decent teams before they can pick up momentum.

My best mate is a Plymouth season ticket holder. Tuesday in November then Wednesday in February - we aren't happy!

Everyone stop flapping

At the moment the league is full of club names. Doesn’t mean many of them will be any good. Let’s see how we recruit before we work out how we’ll fare
