I notice that the 21's team was announced as 3-4-3 with Miller, Maddison and Thomas up front? Perhaps SP was using this to experiment with shape for the first team? I really want us to look more threatening going forward.......

Looked more like 4-3-3 In operation ,but I'm no tactical genious so I could be wrong ,certainly looked like 4 at the back on most occasions where QPR broke away.

Looked like 5-2-3 to me, guess it could be considered 3-4-3 depending how high the wing backs play.

Different standard of football but looked a lot better than the 5-3-2.

I think it was definitely 5 at the back

The kelly Evan twins played wing backs and Clark, Barton and Harries played as CB

Formations - perhaps it is where players are on the pitch at any given time? How players react to situations, how they support and cover for each other and above all how they communicate with each other.
