The full 2026 Winter Olympics will be broadcast on TNT Sport and Discovery+ in the UK for subscribers. TNT Sport say they will have over 850 hours of action from every sport, venue and medal event.

TNT Sports 2 will serve as "the primary Olympic destination," with coverage beginning each morning at 8 a.m. GMT and live competition showed from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Discovery+ customers can watch the coverage 24/7 through a selection of live event feeds.

The BBC will also have coverage on free-to-air TV, although not as much live action as previous years.

Coverage of "all major events" will be on BBC One and BBC Two from 9am to 10pm each day.

The second live stream, Olympics Extra, will be available via BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app to show "additional" events from 8am to 11pm to show additional Winter Olympic Games.

I love the Winter Olympics, it feels like a relaxing background watch. I particularly love watching curling, but I'll watch every available second and then immediately forget it exists until 2030.

Got to be some questions asked about letting Lindsey Vonn compete. Why is someone who has pretty much zero chance of a medal taking a spot for a country like the USA?

Retired 7 years ago after a series of injuries and ended up needing a knee replacement.

Crashed at Crans-Montana, the lead up event to the Olympics, and had to be airlifted off the course. Later confirmed she had ruptured her ACL but was still allowed to race today. Crashed and once again airlifted off the course.

No athlete will ever say they don't want to compete but at some point shouldn't someone in charge exercise a duty of care?

Every four years I'm like " Ah fuck yes, curling, love that stuff," then promptly forget after the event is over, until re awakened again 4 years later.

Didnt realise we have only ever won 13 gold medals at the winter Olympics (including last nights)... weve got a good chance now to get another with 3 brits in the top 10 for the Skeleton final.

Although any medal will be amazing

I work at a respite centre for kids with learning disabilities and we made a makeshift curling rink today, the stone was an upside down bowl with a ball inside so it rolled onto the target, then a wedge with a vinyl slip and laundry basket so we could try sledging . Great fun

Don't think we've ever won more than 1 gold at a winter olympics before.

I think the 2 commentators on the snowboarding and skiing made it with there excitment and analogies.

Agree it can get abit much if you sat and watch it relentlessly but good to keep your eye on

People are glued to some of these sports for 2 weeks and then they don't get shown anywhere for the next 4 years.

How expensive can the rights to things like curling be?
