Good luck Dugless. You've ridden your luck so far by inheriting Gyokores and Fwanking all the money away on garbage. I think we can all see your 5 year plan going to go as smoothly as 'Operation Premiership'.

If he gets the pricing wrong next year there could be trouble. I'm certainly thinking about blanking it for the first time in decades. Would rather watch the Sphinx or Copsewood and help local clubs than line the pockets of these muppets.

You're saying you had a season ticket in Northampton, through all the years of Sisu, but this is the straw that broke the camels back. OK.

The side we had at Northampton would beat this current bunch.

Come on now! Presume that’s tongue in cheek.

We need perspective at times - that era v current day, light years apart. (However frustrating it is currently)

The team is about the Coleman era to me, just enough to stay up but lacking real quality. Yesterday was a poor but had poor results on the way to the playoffs (stoke at home). not yet reached the slade era yet. I do think owners can get young players out of thin air and make then into stars. The premiership days we had Botang, Dubin, Huckerby, Mccallister, and when they left the club couldn't replace them and we went on the slide. Now we have lost Vik, Ohare, Hamer, and the glue that bonded the team as a leader Mcfadzean and failed to replace them. Another 10 years and the cycle will start again

Yesterday was truly awful. But this season doesn't even come close to being at the level of some of the carry on we've endured over the years.

Tbf I'm pretty sure il blank it

Few reasons, firstly I genuinely dislike every player. I don't hold an affinity to any of them. Used to be Sheaf but he's shown himself to be a right wimpy little shithouse this season

Secondly, it's not as important to me as it once was. Used to ruin my weekend if we lost, or I'd be furious if I couldn't make a game. Now I'm like 'meh'

Lastly, I just dont trust any of the current recruitment set up, owner etc to turn it around. They've failed miserably so far what will suddenly make them be great and sort this shambles out? We've already been sold a dream that's turned into shite, forking out the best part of a grand to relive the Coleman/Bowie years really isn't appealing

But that 'carry on' was fun, it made us individual and being the underdogs was an important part of the club. Now we're just a carbon copy of most average teams in the space - with as much character as the likes of Wigan, Reading and Derby.

Sheaf angling for move away? He’s really blown his chances of more mid table PL team surely?

Now we’re morphing into a lower mid table championship side with a big name manager, highly paid under performing players who the fans can’t relate to and an egotistic owner. Not much to like is there?

If you cared so much about the team's performance, you wouldn't leak team news on here; you'd be wanting to give us every advantage possible. A toe nail away from a Wembley FA Cup final, yet you dislike every player in our squad? You seem to have a grudge against the football club in general - your negativity is either sad or malicious. Finally. Bowie's Golden Years was a decent song.

Nothing screams 'meltdown' more than people reminiscing about the good old days of the 2010s.

He sounds relatively optimistic, whereas you are whining about “genuinely disliking” every one of our players after we lost a game.

I do. As do a load of other people

Name one player you feel would run themselves into the ground for the shirt? There isn't any

Name one player (probably Haji tbf) you'd be really gutted to see leave the club? There aren't any

As many have said, they don't lack talent, they lack bollocks, mental strength, fitness, courage, physicality

Not one of that lot has the resolve to drag us to results

He should stick with it as it will be easier to get away after the game next season as numbers will be lower.

I sympathise with him there. There’s also the constant international breaks, numerous mid week games and changing of kick off times from 3pm Saturday that annoy me too. Like a lot of people on here I travel a fair distance to home games and just feel less inclined to do it as much given the above.

This is my 50th season supporting us so I am also getting old and my health isn’t as good as it was so I am undecided about renewing next year. Perhaps when I retire these things won’t bother me as much as I’ll have more free time. I do hope so.

Yeah those seasons of finishing just outside the relegation zone, taking less than 1,000 away and the club nearly going out of business were great.
