Seems a decent schedule at first glance. Games against the teams you’d expect to be up there are quite spread out.

Is it me but do we seem to have less midweek home games? Appreciate the Saturdays could be moved to Friday night and Sunday.

Real chance for decent start there. Stoke moved already to 12:30 KO.

Right now who's the wild rumour mill today? Hamer? Vik?.....

Live league matches in August and September will be released first, by early July.

All live matches selected for broadcast up to the FA Cup third Round in January 2025 will be communicated before the start of the season.

New TV deal seems a bit mental to me. Who on earth, aside from fans of those clubs, is going to be watching Swindon vs Chesterfield in League Two on a Friday night? Especially when there are 3 other games going on at the same time.

I forget about the first break every season, and a bit of my soul leaves my body each time.

Would’ve been good if Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth had Birmingham first…

Probably a decent chance we don’t get to play Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth seeing as they’re the last team we play.

Just came on to say the same - of the last 7 games, at least 6 are against teams you'd expect to be up there. Just hope fatigue doesn't hit at the wrong time.

Definitely, if we’re serious about going up this year we need a minimum of 3 wins from the first 5 for me, if not 4 tbh, 1 loss is sorta acceptable but we can’t afford to be drawing 2-3 games and winning only 2.

I also want to see us win a few games 3-0 or 4-0 etc, we don’t do enough of that, put the shits up teams so they’re actually afraid to play us.

We should have a lot fewer midweek games this season. We had 3 moved to Monday night at home last season for TV and another 4 moved because of fa cup.

It does but look at January to March, quite kind - need to use those months to consolidate the autos

Doug splashes the cash on some more quality additions and we’re in the Prem. This is the gamble season!

Admittedly, but 5 of those are Xmas/New Year and Easter which are normally not Saturdays anyway

Completely agree, whilst I don’t think that we should gamble everything we’ve got, I do think this is the season where an extra injection of cash will make a massive difference. I would be very surprised if we’ve still got players like Van Ewijk this time in year or two and replacing such quality for the cost we bought him would be hard. We have almost have a squad full of quality players, just need 3 or 4 more to add depth and we’ll be competing for the automatics in my opinion.
