Wondering what people bet on during the football season?

I tend to do

£5.00 - 5 fold win
£5.00 - 5 fold Both teams to score

I would like to get involved with win & BTTS as the odds are huge. I was wondering if people bet on this bet and what they tend to do?

- 3,4,5 fold?
- How do you select your teams?
- Success stories?

What does "fold" mean in betting terms?

I have a 16 team Acca and then have a few singles from within that, normally have a city scorer but tend to look for value in that went for Ben turner and Cargill at different times last year think both were about 16-1

I usually limit myself to £2 6 fold usually pays around £100 mark.

Maybe a £1 every now and again on a 12 team accumulator that pays out £100k and I usually get 3 out of 12 right (usually someone like Bournemouth winning at Chelsea as well)

Then if I'm feeling flush I sometimes put £2 on both team to score 8 games 2 from top 4 divisions.

Then the odd bet online on City games only £1/£2.

In all probably bet £5 max a week.

I'm comfortable to lose that & not chase, like some people do.

Some bets/amounts I see people post on Twitter and Facebook are outrageous (always the winners) makes me wonder how much they must lose.

Not a success story but nearly my biggest win few years back, I cant remember the exact amount or number of teams may have been about 10 teams £2 on paid out a good few hundred quid.

Anyhow 9 are in just need Newcastle to beat Ipswich 2-1 Toon 93rd min, penalty Newcastle this should wrap it up they miss it Ipswich go down the other end & equalise!!

Usually have more success when I have a rare day out at the gee gees!

I'm going for an accumulation
Man Utd to win the prem
Brighton to get promoted
Sheff Utd to win league 1
Celtic to win spl
Only having a tenner on it

Could a kind hearted soul work out the odds please

Just had my first bet of the season.

Item 6 team accumulator to win , both teams to score

The odds get ridiculous but I only ever put on £2 as it's just a bit of a laugh, pay out on today's bet is 92 grand

Like I say, nothing serious and Best i've ever had is 4/6 , but who knows , footballs a Funny old game , last season showed that

Good luck today you guys , try to be sensible

Usually bet £3 on a 6-8 fold which accumulates to about £400 if it wins.

Sometimes do the team yo win with both teams to score (can't remember what the bet is called) and a four fold can get up to £1000 from £3!

Only bet what you can afford to lose.

Had a couple of winners last weekend, namely Norwich to beat Blackburn (single) and Man Utd/Sheff Wed double.

This weekend, Liverpool/Bayern double won me a fair bit.

That sounds fun - a dutch double - did you pay for that out of your other wins
