Could Mark Robins go back in for some of the old squad this summer?
Players out of contract this summer are...
Joe Murphy, Jordan Clarke, Richard Wood, William Edjenguele, Blair Adams, James Bailey, Steven Jennings, Frank Moussa.
Sorry guys, Carl Baker and Leon Clarke will need a fee.

I'd have Moussa & Clarke in a heartbeat, especially considering the players they'd displace. Liked Wood and Blair Adams but I cant remember if they were actually any good. Liked Joe Murphy a lot too, I was about 16 at the time and he lived a stones throw from my house so maybe that's why

All that said couldn't see any of them being interested in playing League 2 for us

Wood and Adams would be good in League 2 - would take both of them back. Wood was on high wages with us IIRC though. Would also love Murphy back, however unlikely that is.

moussa - Robins is the only manager who really got the best from him at any club
Clarke - would still destroy league 2, and guess thats where his future is

We need a player like Richard wood or Nathan Clarke. A player in that mould along side a more mobile ball playing defender of your playing 4 at the back.
There's always talk of old players linking back up with managers would you take any back? I'm not a big fan of getting old players back for various reasons but I'd like a couple of them names back. Yes all of there careers have not kicked on but some players play better under certain managers.

Moussa yes, Jennings probably, Murphy yes, Blair Adams yes. Baker and Leon Clarke yes, probably a yes for Jordan Clarke as well.
