2 home matches in 5 days, the perfect opportunity to turn the ship around. Build some confidence, and set-up nicely for a first win in 24 years against Preston. Just find a way to win tonight through any means possible.

If there's going to be a reaction to the obvious (and first real) pressure on this young team and MR, it must be now.

Blackburn are a point off top lads. We need a performance but expecting us to go from absolute shite to world beaters isn’t realistic. I’ll take a hard fought loss let alone a hard fought point. Need to see the fight though.

The issue tonight is not going a goal down... any team can concede a goal... it's how they react after it.

The usual line is 'trust the process'... but do the players really know what it is???

League table means little at this stage. Blackburn were crap last year and lost Szmodics.

With the quality we have in the squad we should be a match for almost anyone, especially at home. I would not be happy with another loss.

We may have the quality, but they are not playing as a team at the moment, it seems so disjointed and players scared of what to do

Need a big showing by the lads today. Blackburn are doing well so a draw wouldn’t be the end of it all. Two loses though and the pressure builds significantly on everyone.

Well yeah, but we weren't disjointed against Spurs. We put in a fabulous all-round performance in that game.

It's the puzzling bit in all this.

At times we have looked really good, but then the next moment, look like we haven't ever played together before.

But is that the current situation. We can lift our game against PL teams, but the day in day out grind of the Championship seems to allude us at the moment. Is it that we have two many players to keep happy in certain positions and not having a settled side

Watched a couple of promotional videos on Twitter that were made in the build up to the PO final and the FA cup semi so I'm now absolutely hyped and confident we'll turn it around.

Perfectly setting myself up for a miserable drive home at 10pm after Hyam bags the only goal from a corner.

Injuries aside it does feel like Robins is trying to keep everyone happy. It's a lot easier keeping good players on the bench in Prem on inflated wages than in the championship, or else they will be looking for the next move. O'hare and Palmer being the example.

We need 4 points out of these 2 games, and more importantly we need a performance from the players.

Anything less and we’ll be heading into November in the relegation zone.

At that point we’ll struggle to turn it around as we know these players are incapable of dealing with pressure

Tonight will be largely about bravery. Some of the players look scared as hell. Scared to do anything other than pass back, scared to take anyone on or make themselves available for a pass.
Let's see what they're made of.

If there is trouble in the camp I suspect they won't perform but if they have anything about themselves and professional pride they will show what they are made of because atm there's plenty of room for improvement

Its October - so we're allowed to start being good now.

Honestly - we're a couple of individual performances away from being decent again.

Season starts again tonight. Win the next three - and everything changes.

If we’re going to get anything from tonight, both Wright and Simms need to put a performance in.

No better chance to get the season going now. Coming off a big win with plenty of confidence. A day more rest than Sheff Wed and them having 2 away games with plenty of miles covered

Another 3 points needed to show the tide is turning. Always worry the international break causes another downturn if we do go in with some momentum.
