And none in the last 3.

Are we concerned?

We've tightened up fantastically. But lacking goals seems to be becoming an issue

Doesn't help that we only have 3 strikers fit at any given time

We have only conceded 4 in 7 games

And we have only just got Godden back. I am not concerned at all. Hamer was missing too.

When Godden gets his match sharpness back we will be okay I would have thought.

This is how I expected things to be at the start of the season, tight games struggling to score

None in the last 3 and 1/2. Last one was Kelly's header before half time against Wycombe.

Yes, I am concerned.

We take Hamer out and we seriously lack creativity which is a concern. I think if we were leaking goals then I would be worried but we aren’t losing apart from last week. I think results have been kind to us elsewhere however and we will start playing the top teams again so I am expecting a sticky patch coming

We have 1 fit striker who’s at the level the 2 AM slots behind godden we need better ohares final ball is often poor

A concern yes but a fully fit Godden will help. Huge blow to not have Walker available too.

Conversely, we have conceded just 5 in 10 games:
1 from open play
1 set piece
3 penalties

We lack quality and strength in depth upfront - if we survive it needs to be the top priority.

Quality being the key, we have two strikers probably good enough and two that aren’t. Cannot see us bringing in a 5th without shipping one if not both out

Very concerned seeing that we are rock bottom of the league 7 points away from safety, loosing all our games at least 3 nil it's just not acceptable

Both of them are out of contract in the summer.

It doesn't help we have had some horrendous injury misfortune

Godden 6 weeks
Kelly 3 months
Walker 6 weeks
Marosi 6 weeks

Chuck in Dabo and Rose's injury issues over the summer and we haven't been able to field our strongest 11 once

Really
Heading for 50 points
Sheff wed and wycombe won’t get 45
At least 1 of the others also
Keep as is with others tired after 2 back to back seasons and we are fine

That has nothing to do with summer recruitment whatsoever - keep it as it is with Biamou and Bakayoko next season?
No thanks.

A big strong ST and an effective AM have to be top priority along with replacing McCallum and Østigård in the summer. Lots to do if we are to establish ourselves. Will be interesting to see the appetite for it from the owners.

Agree we have had a lot of bad luck, I would love to see how we would be with a full strength team albeit we probably aren’t much difference to a lot of clubs in this league but lack depth

Yep not having these two is going to be a massive loss. McCallum is replaceable but osti isn’t and I cannot see us being able to afford him

Godden and Marosi freak injuries also, with a squad as small as ours each injury hits us harder. Not like Daniel Farke who can presumably go out and recall or spend money on players in January, the best we can do is ask some free agents nicely.

We have been able to replace the seemingly irreplaceable before and back us to be able to do so again. Biggest priorities are up front and in central midfield, but let's stay in the league first

We knew goals would be a premium, so it's vital we are tight at the back. Checking out the form tables for the last 6 and 10 games we are 12th. Keep that coming I say.

Both Godden and Walker are good strikers - we could do with a 3rd option. But, the issue is creativity and that comes from midfield.

Our creative output is limited to COH, Hamer and Dabo. Frankly, take Hamer out, there’s nothing really coming from our midfield in terms of goals. Secondly, despite having a capable set piece taker, our defenders aren’t scoring as many as you’d like.

We went into this division full in the knowledge that we’ll be at the bottom end of this league and we need to consolidate and build a squad over a few seasons.

We’re not scoring, but we’re not conceding either, so I’m not particularly concerned at this moment.

Depends if he signs a new contract.

One of my biggest concerns is the form and output from O'Hare. Not just goal scoring but creativity. He has played 2,119 minutes of football since his last assist.

He could probably use a breather but again our lack of depth means we're almost forced to keep starting him.

Is it is missing chances or not creating them I suggest the latter, opposition push tight on to Dabo and nullify his attacking options which is his strength. and our attacking strength. Might need a new look at our midfield set up and set up that plays to the strengths of O’Hare and Hamer. But this league is as tight as a gnats chuff from top to bottom there’s rarely much in it results wise and not many games being won by more than one goal. Going to be a tough second half to the season.

Think we need a recruit in the forward area. Not sure whether that's realistic or not but a quality forward could see us stay up comfortably so it seems like a no Brainer.

Interesting that no one said Godden was isolated playing the lone role today.

It is clear certain excuses are only reserved for certain people's 'do no wrong players'.

If we can do any business at all then the priority has to be attacking midfield and striker

It is correct though.

People are rating Godden lower marks than what Walker was getting playing the lone role.
