We say the same every season though don't we. It cant be down to bad luck every week can it? The fact is, this team is going to struggle because they're just not good enough.
An issue we need to iron out is conceding so soon after we equalise. That is most likely down to inexperience. Which we aren't going to rectify anytime soon.
To be fair thow we are hardly getting battered two tough away games we struggled with last year still managed to take them all the way then throw in a sending off missed penalty and two late winners . The upside for me is we dont expect the world from the youngsters at the minute and they are getting valuable game time
Valuable game time now yes but keep playing them week in week out for months on end and it will exhaust them-they are not senior professionals. If we had a summer devoted to strengthening the team rather than trying to bankrupt ACL we would almost certainly have won both of these games. That we've been unlucky to not get a result in either is a) good management by Pressley and b) very frustrating for this exact reason.

Standby my statement that sp is the right man for the job and as already said I think he has been lied to about when embargo was to be lifted because the so called bomb squad would then make sense under such tight FFP constraints the best step forward is to try and weed out the expensive failures so that when the embargo is lifted the freed up money ( wages ) can be utilised into new signings ,having these surplus expensive flops floating round the squad makes em harder to get rid of , but because embargo still in place ( because deluded sisu thought game would pan out their way ) brings into question why these players are not being used
