15 years ago today Sisu took over CCFC. Would be quite apt if the takeover approval comes through today to draw a line under this period.

Saw someone mention it would be approved same time as EFL approved the ground license so if that’s the case should be today

And to think I celebrated by opening a bottle of Champagne that not.

Not the last time I was a bit premature.

What a great custodian period from SISU.

Stabilised us over 15 years:

1 point better off
Multimillion Pound Player Assets
Highest Season Ticket Sales.......ever
Nice Kits
Fought off Wasps Invasion
Dhillons
Billionaires circling

Reckon our current XI spank this lot too.

Dimi Konstantopoulos
David McNamee
Elliott Ward
Ben Turner
Gary Borrowdale
Michael Doyle
Michael Hughes
Jay Tabb
Leon Best
Leon McKenzie
Michael Mifsud

So glad my kids have grown up watching city during this period.

2 wins at Wembley and a league title too, the Glory Years. Thanks for the memories Joy, i'll never forget watching likes of Barrett, Maguire-Drew and Darius Henderson gracing the array of pitches we happened to grace over these golden years.

It’s been shite overall, and we can joke. But the last few years have been great. (On the pitch)

Which pitch, of course, has always been the question.

Since the JPT Win, it's been an enjoyable time on the pitch and following the City around the country. It could've been a hell of a lot worse.

Yeah, it's been up & down. Some of the worst times I've had as a City fan but some of the best times too.

As it was announced on the radio I was driving through Galley Common and cheered and had a tear in my eye. I have cheered occasionally but probably wanted to cry more under their ownership.

You cheered because you were nearly out of Galley common, then cried when you realised you were still in Nuneaton.

My thoughts go back to the Robbins era.Two r's that has got to be the best time at our club.It was great on and of the pitch and not once did the club leave their stadium. Anyone who seriously thinks it been good now should have lived then.

We were a hairs breath from terminal disaster, the EFL final and the play-off final a year later which we crept into if we are honest and then the manager ability none of the above sisu can take any credit for apart from appointing Mark Robins the one bit of luck we had and sisu had in all those 15 years.

Four places lower in the league, 35 years less tenancy, as much debt as ever.

Resounding success.

Tenancy could be argued as it was well over a million a year with absolutely no income from matchday spending.

Let’s see what it is next season. But yeah point taken. I honestly don’t know the ins and outs of our finances to know if we’re better off than 2007. We obviously run a lot tighter on wages, does feel like we still lose money hand over fist though.
