Mark Robins will be angry about today's showing. I expect injuries and virus had impact but was very poor team performance today. Accrington are a solid unit and that needs some consideration.

I like Mark Robbins and need to keep him.
It's not his fault overall. Who would be a complete success under SISU?

Given a non SISU tenure, I am sure he would succed.

I am sorry I don’t get the sacking manager being strange , any club will sack and have sacked their managers, with Robins I feel no deep rooted foundations , he will be off at the first chance he gets as he has done before. If you want a manager look at the likes of Chris Houghton , you know the type that are life time people . This guy we are just a stepping stone and any whiff of achievement with the FA cup he is there like with the FA cup thing on BBC , shop window look at me , crap Judas manager and you can’t blame SISU this time as they have backed him all the way

I expect Robins to get us in the top 7 at a bard minimum but to say Sisu have backed him is rubbish. We lost two key players in Jones and Adreu and he’s only been allowed to bring in a tinpot striker who rarely hits double figures in a season and Lewis-Drew who doesn’t look like he could cross in a month of Sunday’s.

he went for 3 proven lower-league forwards in Richards, Davies and Pope don’t forget, so some money was made available.

I’d say robins doing a Ok job with what he’s got ... I know we don’t want to hear it , or have robins use it as an excuse , but it is what it is.... lost Tony andreu at start of season ( who knows what player he could have been for us ) Jodi jones out long term ( touted by many as one of the best in this league ) , grimmer injured ( one of the best this season for me, providing that attack down the wing as well as good defender ) Davies out with nasty injury .. Doyle our now too, and more missed today than I thought he would be !
Then there are the signings we missed out on like James collins and Marc Richards , proven goalscorers ... instead of signing Biamou & clarke-Harris, not proven and work in progress. not knocking them by any means , Biamou has come on leaps and bounds from where he was and really puts a a shift in ( which we applaud him for and fans will take to him for )... but that hasn’t given us 15 goals from him , or even 10. If it had we’d be up at the top or f the league .

Can we blame any of that on robins

Proven Goalscorers don't score goals without creating any chances for them.

It’s a good job that after the last ten manegerial departures we have been saved from mediocrity. Thinking about it, for us to be mediocre would be a step up as for the past ten years we have simply been awful. Sacking managers doesn’t work.

As I keep saying our relegations have been caused by sticking with the managers st the time who were clearly taking us down.

0 chances last 2 games, we need to create more regardless of it was biamou or collins

Apparantly we paid over £100k for Clarke-Harris as a loan fee.

Robins insists on playing Biamou as a target man but doesn’t set out his team to utilise a target man, no wing-play, no crosses nothing, he may as well stick 2 number 10’s up-front. Useless

How about the last 28 games. Is it just mcnulty who has chances and not Biamou. In the end we backed duds as forwards in Biamou and Beavon neither of whom will get a professional contract again.

Tommy Langley was a better target man than Biamou.

Fact is mcnulty doesn't really get chances, we are relying on him to pull something out of the bag where he shouldn't be scoring

Imagine if we did create chances for him....

Well that won’t happen with 50 pence head Biamou alongside him. I’ve hever seen a striker with no little movement in the penalty area. There is a reason he was playing pub football until the age of 24.

You are getting more like dongo by the day.

Most of anything that happened yesterday was from biamou having to take the ball off defenders.

Change biamou for jch and we still have nothing up front because we don't create anything and the gap between strikers and midfield is massive.

Sorry but the bottom line is if your number 9 can only score one league goal all season he’s not good enough.

I don’t care about a 20 goal striker - we need someone who has presence and movement off the ball and really works defenders for 90 minutes. He doesn’t and he never ever will.

We should have sacked Mowbray the previous February when his fortune was waning. We hung onto Venus with no plan to replace. Strachan and Thorn should have been sacked long before they were.

You can't expect any player to score from zero chances to score.

First I’ve heard of that? Struggle to believe that if we only offered 25k for Pope who is proven in this league.

Speculation is we've loaned him with the provisio we pay £125K in the summer for permanent .
This was Clive suggesting it was structured that way to stay within FFP.

We had four managers last season so clearly that theory doesn’t work. In fact if anything it proves the opposite of what you’re claiming. Chopping and changing managers doesn’t work.

Literally no correlation between that and recent performances. It isn’t SISUs fault the players haven’t turned up in recent games. I suppose Biamou would’ve scored 15 goals by now if SISU werent in charge?

I thought he was out of contract in the summer but could be wrong.

Big Mark Robins supporter here.

But I’m afraid I agree he has 15 games to still be competing for a play off spot.

If it fizzles out to mid table mediocrity, then you would have to question everything he has done.

I think if it all goes wrong we may well reflect back upon a poor January transfer window.

Problem is the poor transfer window occurred during arguably best month in league and cup. And if we are all honest the general consensus was. We are all satisfied with transfer dealings.

Yeah, we were and I was too. Looking at JMD and Barrett so far though, they haven't pulled up any trees at all.

It would be upon reflection. At the time it all seemed sensible.

In hindsight. jMi hate to admit it, Reid crosses into the box were some of the best I have seen this season.

Wish he had taken players on though. He has the ability to do so and I thought his crosses were from too deep out for the most part.

Vincenti was poor.

Those two crosses just begged to be attacked. Afraid he should have got both on target. Stunning quality on two or three of his crosses. The volley he should have side footed on target. And the header for a guy who’s 6 ft 4 was poor

I was 1 who voiced my disapproval at the dealings how you can bring the player in at this stage of the season with so little first team games if I was the likes of Ponticelli I would be knocking on his door and asking what more i've got to do to get in front of unfit players and Biamou. The likes of Stevenson a fit player were let go and didn't it bite us yesterday playing Kelly who it not ready to come back . .Even how bad we were yesterday Reid whom i'm not a fan of put over at least 3 good crosses and none of those looked like being converted we cannot put even short passes together and if it comes to long 1's no chance what do we do in training it doesn't seem to be attacking crosses or passing .they played like 11 players who were just been told to put on the shirts having just meet. Sorry but the guy has to go that and other games this season have been a shambles.
