Does anyone think there were 20000 empty seats? I know both ends were empty and each end holds 6000.

I think at least 15000 there tonight.

Apparently if they declare less it's cheaper for taxes or something. Don't ask me about that just something I heard

I was trying to work it out by how much ends would hold and this, that, the other too but its impossible tobe specific with it.

If i was guessing I would have said around 13-14,000. certainly not unrealistic that the 12 and a half thousand odd they advertised is accurate (although definately not past the club to announce less to save on taxes!).

On tv all you saw was about 25 people behind the dugouts and a sprinkling of Preston fans. Saw more people on Hearsall Common walking their dogs when matches were on there.

Id've said 14000 from where I was, but what do I know. I wouldn't put it past Coventry to declare less, anyone remember Blackburn replay when there was 22000 apparently, despite it being a near sell out, bar most the blackburn end and a few in the home stands

The days of understated attendances are long gone.

The turnstiles are all linked by computer and run a report that has to be sent with a full reconciliation to the Football League.

whatever the figures I thought it was a great turn out considering the game was live on sky, the roar when 5 minutes to injury time was announce was unreal
