I know us fans hate the early kick offs
(4:30 a. m. for me) but how does it affect the team and staff?

I guess players don't like it as it messes with the routine and preparation.

Guess they could adjust training in the week prior to get used to the intensity around that time but pre-match meals etc. are messed up entirely.

12:30? When I were a lad we sometimes had to travel all the way to Brinklow for 10am on a Sunday Morning.... and when we got there we'd have to put the corner flags out and the nets up.
Bloody youth of today.... don't know they're born.

I read one player saying they like it as they’re not waiting around hours extra, but the biggest complaint most have about early KOs is that eating pasta at 9am is grim.

Like 12:30 KO, but this is the biggest con. Just have to have bigger and slightly later breakfast.

For us the travel in means we either have to wait until 2.30 or arrive ridiculously early for kick off. If it were shifted to 1 pm probably wouldn’t be an issue.

Poor souls.

I've had to eat Rice at 7am this morning to prepare for a big training session, and in a couple of weeks it'll be 6am as i'll be racing at 10am.

You just get on with it.

Rice is a very common breakfast item across the world. Just saying.

12:30 kick off would be much better for the players as its similar time they do there training. Less waiting around etc.
Away games, may mean more overnight stays.
For me - much better time

All of the 12:30 kick offs have been flat for every team so far I think.
It annoys me too, I’m sat in Wetherspoons and it ain’t even 09:30 yet

I don't understand the correlation with an early kick off and the need to engorge a ploughman's, anally?

12.30 home games are good, not so much fun when travelling away though.

I'm doing it right now for my game this afternoon. Bit of an odd breakfast for sure!

Well if that's the 'preference' (admittedly only 50%) then it's gonna be a long season.

It is a concern as we have been particularly poor with the midday kick-offs. Surely the performance director has been advising?!

This is me too. We have to set off around 7:30am to get to the ground as family need to be close to the disabled spots (couldnt get one this year). So it's a very early start and then after the hour+ getting out of the ground, pretty much the whole Saturday is gone anyway.
I personally prefer night games, the atmosphere is better in my opinion.

Going by today's Performance, the Players Still Think it's a 3 O'clock kick off.

I hate these early kick offs, blatantly our players hate them too going by our performances. Oh and as for Coventry as a city…..the pubs were full of people who were arseholed by 6 pm ! Good buzz but we came away I reckon before someone lit the blue touch paper
