Thanks for the ribbing today. Think I should should explain myself a bit more. That game was special to me for several reasons. Top of the list being the final game I attended with my City mad girlfriend of 5 years as she passed away 4 weeks later.

Feeling very melancholy, nostalgic, sad and frustrated looking back at these memories compared to now. Were playing second fiddle to a London rugby team in OUR city ffs. Highfield Road was home to a spirited, community based club. We can still be that but what can we do to get there again?

Shouldn't have to explain yourself to anyone. Hope you had a good kickabout today.

Went up there myself yesterday Ball Hill was rammed so thought what the hell will go past Highfield Rd. Shame how things have moved on.
Had some very happy days up there now it is becoming a chore watching the latest breed of Cov Player.

CJ - popped up there but couldnt see anybody (was a bit late tho)...have to say it was weird being in that area. The last time I was in the middle of that particular area was the last game of the season there. Time before that was probably Leeds ....but best not dwell on that one!!!

I work about 400 yards from there, and if you were loitering, you were lucky that you a) didn't get propositioned by someone with somewhere between two and seven teeth or b) arrested for talking to a).

Well done for trying, though !!
