Not really-Dave Boddy is an employee of CCFC just like Robins and players are.

My point is that I think Boddy is doing a decent job and if he’s a ‘puppet of SISU’ so is every other employee.

I think Boddy is doing a decent job as well.

No I don't think Robins is a puppet of SISU.

SISU do not interfere with the footballing side directly but clearly interfere and call the shots on the business strategy.

Obviously some or all of SISUs actions and strategies indirectly influence the "football side" and at the point that MR and any of his staff feel it is diluting their control or ability to compete they will be off.

I wonder what Rupert Lowe's take would be on a football club that has been poorly ran for a couple of decades or so.

Would be interesting he chased sisu out of town while he was at Southampton, perhaps genial Joe Elliott should have asked why

I was thinking more the other side where scholastic etc used to be. Car parks are always empty and seem shut up. Plus there's the bit of green space behind them.
P&H appears to be being used again but doesn't seem to get that many lorries etc going in nowadays.

How does it put pressure on the council? When it came out that SISU had approached the council and the council hadn't responded there was zero pressure on the council but lots of people posting saying it was a waste of time and SISU will never build a stadium.

It puts pressure on the council if they have lied, and it keeps getting highlighted and proven in public , you should know about putting pressure on , you seem to be on here 24/7 arguing the same points lots of different ways with anyone who disagrees with you,

It was highlighted and proven in public though when Duggins contradicted himself, what happened then?

It was highlighted when Duggins made up the "Should not impact CCFC" condition was only 4 years and then bragged about public opinion on his side when asked about it. What happened then?

If Duggins is up for Lord Mayor, hes likely to be sponsored by the trust - after all they’ll be all up for him with his Excellent work in ridding Coventry Of Coventry City

Exactly. We have thousands who based on the first Birmingham game haven’t followed, someone needs to give them a reason and a belief that we are heading home at some point

I don't know the possible outcome but my take is when the complaint to the E U went in any hope of getting a deal at the Ricoh till this is settled were scuppered .The court cases have proved negative but still Sisu had to gamble with the clubs future .Surely if as they suspect Wasps financial situation is as bad as they think(i'm not so sure myself) like Fatso said (post 98) and something I have said for a long time they should have tried to negotiate a deal for half share in the stadium , but no they want to HOPE to grind Wasps into the ground whilst doing our club and fans great damage. We will not be back at the Ricoh which is the only option I can see until this compliant is dealt with . They sold Bayliss to ease some of the shortfall from revenue lets hope we have another "Bayliss" lined up next year , "ccfcway" I am one who has not gone to S A age being one of many reasons as ever week goes by although I will never stop retaining my interest (63 years) I feel it is going to be harder to tempt me back should we come back.

I wonder what the break even figure is at St Andrews regarding attendance? If 6500 turned up at the first (L1) game and results hold up, maybe attendances may rise further which may be a double edged sword regarding the longevity of staying in Brum. Can’t see us playing in Coventry while attendances hold up unfortunately.

No way will we break even it is a matter of limiting the losses , Bayliss sale was one way of stemming some of them . Last season it was who would blink first with the stadium . This season is about who has the deepest pockets . In the meantime the fans will suffer those that go will be spending more money something families can ill afford and the ones that don't maybe lost to the club forever.

They’re not going to go and issue statements related to any of that and give away their hand when they are probably in the middle of the most important sets of negotiations in the clubs history are they? Nor would I want them to if it weakens our position.

I trust that they will be doing what’s best for the club. Not because I feel they give a shit about the club sentimentally mind you...just that’s it’s in their best interests to make the club as valuable as possible.

Can you not just concentrate on the football and exciting start to the season mate?

"Best for the club" "most important set of negotiations" . "I trust they will be doing the best for the club" These are things that should have been done in the last 12 years . The last piece I quoted you sure have got more faith than me.

Erm, not really.

Lowe apparently wanted more money than what SISU were prepared to pay. It was greed on his part more than 'chasing them out of town'.

I contacted all our West Midlands MEP's asking for a timeline when the European commission might give a response on SISU's complaint and received the following from Andrew England Kerr. When and if I hear anything else....I'll post it here.

Thank you very much for your email.

I have sent a request to the Commission to obtain the information.

Will revert as soon as I have a response.

Wish I had your optimism they were doing what was best for the club. I am concentrating on the football and that is MR’s priority and I trust him to do it. The owners now need to address their priority which should be getting us back to our city.

The answer is easy really to get us back at the Ricoh vote conservative
According to the comments of Gary Ridley in this article
Fight on to stop Coventry's historic police museum moving to Brum
They take the view things should not be transferred from Coventry to Birmingham
Did make me smile

Have you two ever thought about getting job's as journalists? Not like, real journalists, but for The Sun maybe, or The Daily Mail, or the Coventry Telegraph?
They could use talents of people such as yourselves who quote part of a post, excluding the part that changes the message entirely

I wasn't trying to say I disagree with you I picked those quotes out because these are things Sisu should have been doing from day 1 instead of waiting till now. "The best for the club" bit I think should read " for themselves" which seems to be your sentiments , "trust " I would replace with "hope" and that seems to be all we have got.

Needs sorting, if things continue on the pitch as they have started 15000+ gates could be regular, that’s a lot of money disappearing from our coffers.
