Surely they will appeal the card ? May as well as there is only one match left potentially

Based on what? This keeper will just absolutely crumble with the big crowd and pressure of the game.

Can see another Burnley situation coming here

Based on our performances agaisnt Sunderland and West Brom.

Middlesbrough are more like them than Luton. We struggle agaisnt the low block scrappy sides.

I’m with Macca. The keeper was fine against West Brom in a massive game with a sold out crowd. We’ll beat Middlesbrough

Played a CB up front according to my Boro mate. They sound a right mess TBH.

The keeper was fine in this matches because he had nothing to do, if you think Middlesbrough aren't going to have a real go at some point given what's on the line I think you are mistaken

This is the first 'must win' of the season (maybe the 2nd after WBA). I have a feeling Blackburn will beat Sheff Utd.

As for line up, I guess Eccles in at RB? The good thing is they are in poor form too.

Won't be against Lampard trying that with our current options.

Is it bad I actually kinda like this idea. Only problem is the other CBs we have. But with the crosses we have and his accurate headers…

It's not going to happen, but he would put the defenders under a lot more pressure and stress than Simms.

Actually Binks has a good accurate finish on him. I think I am not the only one who thinks he might prosper as a marauding left back.

Could do with 1 more. Preston need a result last day and a draw would then take us above Bristol in case Millwall or Blackburn find something. Could also then be 5th and v Sunderland instead. Tbf the BC keeper playing well, can we borrow him?

Come full-time on Saturday, we will have completed a full 46 game season without having taken part in a single "must win" fixture.

That 4th goal last night means if Bristol lose a draw would see us above them.
Not that we are going to.
Sheff.Utd. will not want to lose to Blackburn as they would probably be their opponents in the play offs.If Millwall got the result they need at Burnley they would deserve to get there on that alone.
Make sure you take your tranquilizers early Saturday morning

Last day, title undecided, five could get playoffs, five could go down. That’s half the league with a meaningful last game, plus the two confirmed PO teams with an interest. This really is an excellent division.

How long before plastic PL fans start having “a Championship team” to get in on the action?

I’ll be happy when we’re 1-0 up in the last 10 minutes with both Sheff U and Burnley winning at the same time. Then I’ll be relaxed about conceding an equaliser.

As long as we don't repeat Norwich and concede two. Remember if we go from 1-0 to 1-1 and all of a sudden Middlesbrough will sense they can get the win they need. Even with 10 minutes left. Then the 4th Official puts up his board and it is 8 minutes extra time. Then Sheffield United are suddenly behind...

I have lived through these types of scenarios. I will only relax if we are 4-0 up with ten minutes to go, especially with this group of players. I don't fault their commitment but they are prone to incredible sloppiness defensively.

Suddenly I am feeling more confident after last nights result. Blackburn and Millwall have difficult away games and we are two points clear of Middlesborough and equal on GD to Bristol. Thank you Leeds for restoring my optimism.

Have a read of the Middlesbrough forum for a further pick me up. Never seen such negativity for a team one game away from the play-offs..
