i know its bad to talk about the team nowadays but we just had another friendly in holland and by all accounts aquitted ourselves very well

1-1 draw vs a team that finished 12th in top flight is not shabby at all, especially when we fielded alot of youngsters second half especially

pressleys playing mantra seems to be taken aboard by the players, shame we cant see it in full at ricoh this season.

but good luck to lads,if we can add 2 cb and a striker we should do ok this season.

That's the only good thing coming out of this mess
The likes of Conor Thomas, Willis and Clarke get to really step up to the plate

It's always difficult to forecast the forthcoming season based on friendly matches IMO. I agree we desperately need CB's but also someone who can play up front with Clarke. Our Trialist striker looked to offer us nothing that Clarke can't do, although for a big lad he don't half hit the deck easily!

If I'm honest I don't see what Pressley is seeing in him (and I certainly did not see any resemblance to Didier Drogba, Andy Turner!)

Clarke won't be here come Aug 31st Leon that is, a good striker at this level will generate a fee plus will be on a reasonable salary, SISU need to fund the self imposed operating losses caused by moving.

"I think there is a very special player there.” (Steven Pressley).

We're shopping at Woolworth's rather than Harrod's, remember. What's that? They've gone bust? Ah.

What makes me laugh is Pressley's attempt to keep his identity secret. Anybody who wants to know who he is can easily find out...what's the point?!?

Going from the reports It is good to hear a few things. Players being hungry, holding shape and position, hunting the ball when not in posession etc etc...Mirror what other lads said, if we can get off field shite sorted and get a couple of additions we will not be far away.

They're "hungry" because all they get to eat is a Mars bar a week..
