A poor half from us.

We are completely confused at the back, and going forwards we have no idea what to do. West Brom look so much more organised and thoughtful about what they want to do with the ball. It's like they feel they can afford to be calm, where as we just look rushed and clueless.

WBA could be further ahead if they pushed but I don't think they are even stressing themselves about getting out of second gear.

Lucky to go in 1 down. It's been men Vs boys. Some really poor performances out there. The back 5 are all over the place and the midfield 4 are struggling to impose themselves.

We need to learn how to clear the ball out of the area and score when in the 6 yard box. For me Ben Wilson has to come and punch the ball for the goal. Has looked really shaky. No one is on their game. Early subs I think.

One thing that irks:

We get a throw in at around half way in the opponent half, we often try to backwards take on halfway and pass back ~ ie lose yards instead of gain. Often the opponents press our throw-ins back and Wilson ends up under pressure.

All other teams seem to steal yards, often ti their advantage

Admittedly I missed a lot of the first half but what I saw from Palmer was pathetic compared with what I saw from Allen.

What are we supposed to be getting from Palmer? What's his role? How does a player of his size get knocked off the ball so easily?

Albrighton looks a properly good signing, we could do with keeping him a bit quieter.

Yeah agree about Albrighton, I'd also add that Jed Wallace seems to be dominating our central midfield single handedly.
