Still more effective than Jamie Allen.

This is a player that when he came on and was chasing down defenders as a sub he was still labelled lazy it should be noted.

Not really, it's to be expected, the squad is lacking depth.
I still don't understand why Burroughs has suddenly been dropped though.

Agree. It's a threadbare squad that was always going to struggle as soon as a couple of key injuries happened.

The through ball specialist that’s gasping for air after 15 minutes of each half

I've got a feeling Waghorn will be decent today, he's a good footballer even if his goals have dried out, he just needs minutes.

A cup tie I think could be embarrassing. They will beat a side without Vik, Sheaf, O'Hare and Hamer in.

Lets hope thats the end of Waghorn in a sky blue shirt and I would love it to be the end of Allen too...both not good enough both not impacting the game...Panzo and Doyle had nightmare games and Rose wasn't much better poor game all round for us and unless Dougie boy gets his offer over the line I don't see shitsu digging deep into their pockets

As poor as our crossing is our numbers and movement in the box is equally bad. One moment where Sheaf decided to punt it in from the angle of the penalty area we had Tavares only in the box and he wasn't moving.

He'll had to play a stronger side. If we lose it will turn very negative.

Looking at Vik today, I don't think he's got another game in him for a while. Knackered.

Will be Waghorn and Tav up front.

No way are we resting players. It would mean the haven’t played for two weeks. After the winter break there’s no way that’s what he wants.

If Sheaf could start he would. If Waghorn didn't have to start, he wouldn't have.

And let's suppose everyone on the bench and pitch was fully fit-it's still all we've got.

Waghorn was better than Tavares, we started well and he was well involved coming to get the ball with his back to goal. We stopped playing after we scored.

Wow Waghorn with 41.7% pass completion

Even Wilson managed 42.9

Can't remember seeing an outfield player that low for a long time

Though to be fair it seems they all struggled, Rose who is normally one of the better passers was only 52%

What Waghorn gives you is someone who can receive the ball in the final third and pass it to our own man, same as Palmer.

I think everyone is being harsh here. It wasn't a good game and things haven't been great since the restart, but we have a mid-table squad and we're doing ok. Everyone getting so angry at Waghorn and Allen is ridiculous, plaers have off-games and both of thise have something to offer. Allen wasn't too bad today and Waghorn hardly ever plays, give them a break. PUSB

Waghorn has nothing to offer

Hopefully this take over actually happens as we need strengthening

He does, but he's a £15k+ a week striker who does not score. He doesn't create anything either. Field day for defenders.

You're presuming he's left them all out for tactical reasons. But let's suppose you're right and fully fit and raring to go we have

Burroughs
Tavares
Kane
Bidwell
Gyo
Kelly
Sheaf
Hamer
Waghorn
Allen
Palmer
Doyle
Panzo
Rose
Dabo

Not much of a squad is it?

I acknowledged it's a bad patch in the post. As robins says himself if can't win don't lose. These points could prove vital.

Wether you agree or not it's clearly not a pisstake post.
