We must have the most impotent midfield in the league. I can't see us scoring one goal, let alone two.

That said, this is so crazy (enforced or not), who fucking knows.

Wilson's distribution should be interesting, he struggles to find a big centre forward, so fuck knows what he's going to produce with a midget up front!

Hamer plays in midfield and has scored in the last two games so this is just a lie haha

The one plus is Blackpool will have prepped basically to stop Gyo running the channels and not Guardiola level strikerless tactics.

But given how much they’re scoring of late, can’t see us getting a result.

Ok you pair of smart arses.

Sheaf, Allen, Palmer, O'Hare, Eccles - they have one goal and one assist between them all so far this season. They are all frustratingly awful in front of goal.

It will probably be different now I've posted this but they really don't score anywhere near enough generally speaking. For the record, I would actually play Hamer up front in this scenario!

Oh well, maybe we should of played the kids, and given the first team a rest.

Tavares must be wondering why he came here.

He must be gutted he left Rochdale reserves to play occasional Championship football with us.

I'd rather Palmer and o hare feeding through balls to Allen I think.

Although he's slow.

O hare faster but accuracy can be an issue

Maybe Palmer could do it I guess

Questions questions questions

Palmer is the closest to a natural striker. Has height and scoring record well above Allen and O’Hare.

Of course pick out my comment on a selection with no striker, out of all the others. I did try to find some kind of plus

To be fair, pull any fucker out the crowd and they could be more useful in front of goal than Palmer and O'hare.

Be like "to me to you to me to you"

Mind you, it would be just like us to win 4-0 and really give MR some headaches.

Because we need to put bums on seats.
Would look odd if we couldn't even fill the bench.

Palmer is in attack - let’s hope he’s a bit more composed with his shooting today then.

Obviously an enforced move. It will either backfire tremendously or be a genius move! We’ll see!

Good to see MR has finally had enough of Gyokeres not passing to anyone from his good positions and instead playing with a forward that will pick out some of our midfielder's runs beyond the defence. Jamie Allen hattrick today.

If this is our last game at the SBA (?) It would be great to sign off in style, reminds me of when Derby got spanked at HR.

Well can’t be many times we’ve started with no forward at all

I can remember once we played a centre half Keith Osgood as a striker against Derby or Ipswich (?)

There was that one time where Konjic was up front, think in the 02/03 season
