So Manchester City how do you propose to show you can live within your means?

Says everything we need to know about football at the moment.

Madness. The greedy FA simply turn a blind eye.

Totally unsustainable and when the game explodes in everyone's faces what will we be left with after the multi millionaires have long gone...

Their figures don't include revenue from Champions League and stuff though also the bigger they become the more investment they will get and they will get more sponsors and stuff

It does beggar belief, that money would buy us the stadium and guarantee promotion and some left in the bank.

yer, and that money has got them from a mid table side to one who will be challanging for the champions league.

I'd take 1/100th of that at the moment

No, that can't be true.

That nice Mr Brody said that expenditure on the team and league position were not related - and let's face it, that guy really knows his Soccaball.

Simple Paxman - they cook up dubious sponsorship deal like the stadium naming one certain in the knowledge that uefa lack the balls to do anything about it. Uefa are going to throw the big teams, who are the major overspending, out of the champions league and lose tv revenue? Dream on - at worst it will be a fine which they can well afford. Especially now that one of the worst offenders are Paris st germain - a French team - it was an issue for platini when it was English teams but his zeal may now fade a bit.

Well if they dont ban them then they are bigger fekin joke than the clown in charge. What you need to remember though is a certain frenchman has balls and when he eventually takes over things will change.
