McBurnie scored 22 goals for Swansea the season before they signed him. Kane had a few nondescript loans at Championship clubs

As originally stated, Kane isn’t / wasn’t worth anything like £13m.

My semi-satirical point is that SUFC overpay for average players.

We didn't pay anything looking at the accounts for Rose, Hyam, Mc Fazdean or Clarke-Salter. So all of them including him I would guess. I am trying to think when we last signed a defender for more than that. I am guessing out the air Elliot Ward?

We paid nothing for O hare and £1.3 m for Hamer but Allen at £750 is not delusional.

Can’t see why we’d put JCS in our books with him not being our contracted player.

Nitpicking aside, his contract is nearly up.

If he extends, would you advocate paying £750k for him?

If he doesn’t, would you advocate a hefty signing on fee (for illustration purposes £750k) having in mind he would be worth (just for the sake of making this point) £750k once he is in a 3 year contract with us?

Worst website ever, so unreliable. Those values are just a guess, less accurate than computer games even. Didn't Kastaneer and Da Costa have really high values on it when we signed them?

Ex-Sky Blues captain Scott Dann set for Championship switch

The 34-year-old centre-half enjoyed an impressive season and half with the Sky Blues in the late noughties
www.coventrytelegraph.net

They say over 1m. I’ve no idea. It was undisclosed.

I’ve answered your question.

tell me someone like a Burnley wouldn't bid 10-12 Million for Gyok?

Young, built, strong, good ball control, scores.
As for the others

Hamer - 7 mill
OHare - 5 Mill
Sheaf - 3.5 Mill
Hyam/ Rose 1.5 Mill

The others nominal due to age, contract lengths etc

I believe at the time it was £700k Dann, £350k Fox and add ons and sell ons.

You asked if we’d paid more than £750k for a defender since Ward.

I’ll stand by that we ended up paying Walsall more than that for Dann.

I’ve answered your question

Well if he said that, then he deserves chastising.

transfermarkt are notoriously inaccurate when it comes to player values, they rarely update them. Our squad value should be closer to £30m.

Gyok 5m
Hamer 5m
O Hare 2.5m
Sheaf 1.5m
Dabo 750k
Rose 750k
Hyam 750k

Just plucked these numbers out my arse but i can't see see anyone else in the squad going for over 500k, godden maybe if he was 4 years younger.

Then you got the u23 who are a bit of an unknown value right now, eccles, tavares howley etc.

Pay better attention. I said I thought we paid £700k plus add ons and he cost us in total more that £750k.

Haven’t you got dogs to bark at or parked cars to chase?

There is a difference between squad value from an accounting perspective and resale value. Suggesting Tavares, Allen and Rose have the values stated to actually be sold deserves being laughed at

Dan having another normal one
