Sheffield United and Coventry City fined by Football Association

Sheffield United are fined £80,000 by the Football Association after the mass confrontation in their 2-2 draw at Coventry City in November.
www.bbc.co.uk

Sheffields 6th offence in 5 years they really are a horrible club. I think Chris Wilder is my most disliked person in the sport.

Suggests you’ve never heard of Marlon King, Don King, or John Gre666ry.

Just read it. Lati involved with one of their coaches who seems to have had a go at Bassette.
fair play to Lati. Definitely more of a leader than the leaders in the team at the time.

Just three people from sports that might be more worthy of hatred than Chris Wilder. I doubt he’s in my top three most disliked Sheff U managers tbh.

Three in the space of a month and a half, and four in the space of three and a half months.

But I'm sure it was Bassette's fault for this, and unspecified opposition players for the others, as is their MO for just being a bunch of proverbials.

Indeed. Even breaching the rules at youth level.

Shows some clubs just have a culture of being the biggest bellends possible, and it permeates the club at all levels.

But I'm sure you'll ask their fans and Wilder and they'll claim to be the victims.

They've always been a shithouse devious underhanded club so it's about time they got some back at them

The battle of Bramall Lane, Chris Morgan on Iain Hume, that potential career ender on Lameiras that went unpunished etc.

If we only win one game for the rest of the season I'd give good money for it to be at their place completely derailing their promotion charge

* Is that the same Gareth Farrelly overseeing proceedings that used to play for Villa? I see he retrained as a lawyer after retiring…

* Nice to see Dr Claire putting in a solid performance in the arbitration hearing #gains

* So much for the idea that we’re a bunch of softies who never go in for the Dark Arts™ (although we are supposedly about to sell our biggest enforcer)

Spot on, sadly. As I am probably older than you, I remember when they had a particularly violent team under Dave Bassett too (they had some notorious players, Billy Whitehurst and Vinnie Jones spring to mind...and of course, a certain Chris Wilder played for them then...)

He's a prick

Think it's testament to how much I don't like him that I would be happy for Sunderland to go up over them

Chris Wilder somehow being more hateful than the likes of Steve Evans, Marlon King, Mendy, Lee Bowyer, Lee Hughes and even every taxi drivers favourite fare Dennis Wise seems a very odd statement.

Oh I thought you meant the bbc report lol. Well yeah obviously if you compare him to sexual abusers then obviously that’s another level. I meant more from a football / the way he is in interviews etc. It was just a throwaway comment mate, I hadn’t actually made a list.

Yeah I imagine he’s one of those characters where you love him when he’s yours and ruffles you up when he’s not.

I don’t think there was a cat in hells chance of him joining us though (if you’re on about last year)

Scummy club and scummy decision. We had an unblemished record and were merely standing up for ourselves.

Well… there was some simulation in there for sure… and then there was a bit of “whoops, I elbowed you in the mush but I couldn’t help it because that’s how we fall over in Belgium”.

Top quality shit housery for sure, and I’m no different from anyone else when it comes to shit housery… I love ours and I hate theirs (who ever they are).
