    Ben Sheaf in depth

He’s also occasionally prone to the odd ‘infuriating errant close range pass’ he’s not Xavi, but he contributes so much & improves us as a team immeasurably. I guarantee teams higher up the football ladder than us will be looking at him as perspective captain material,

    Ben Sheaf in depth

Sheaf is a great player & still improving, it’s no coincidence we lost our shape & dipped in form during his absence, a real ball winner with great vision, poise & presence. Even if we achieve promotion I think we’ll struggle to hang on to him this summer, our best & most important player, he...

Best place in Cov to watch City games?

Really sorry to hear you’re unable to make the game mate, we came up for the Rotherham game & usually go casino pre-game, got talking to a guy in the city centre & he told us to give Dhilons brewery a look. Was really good tbh, 4 or 5 different bar/serving areas with plenty of choice on offer...

NOT SURE THIS IS EVEN POSSIBLE, BUT………..

I wasn’t sure but suspected that might be the case.

NOT SURE THIS IS EVEN POSSIBLE, BUT………..

Just love the kit and it’s massively representative of our city, what with the Two-Tone movement hailing from Coventry and being the city’s best known contribution to music & culture. It’s an ere of history that is still massively popular all over the world. It’s something we should celebrate &...

NOT SURE THIS IS EVEN POSSIBLE, BUT………..

If we get drawn against Man City and we have to change strip 🤔 I would love to see us play at Wembley in the 2-Tone kit…

    Leicester points deduction

It’s almost noon here, not sure what time it is in the far-out commuter towns.

    Leicester points deduction

I know you were, but the outskirts of Birmingham are about the same distance as the outskirts of Rugby. If you add Leicester’s nearby commuter towns such as Hinkley, Loughborough, Shepshed, Coalville etc the population would probably reach around 850,000. whatever way you look at it, Coventry...

    Leicester points deduction

Well if we throw in Birmingham as well, we’ll probably top 2 million.

    Leicester points deduction

The contiguous urban area of Leicester is clearly a fair bit larger than that of Coventry, the population of the cities proper aren’t to dissimilar (both around 350.000 ) but the urban area population of Leicester is approaching 600,000 where as Coventry‘s is approximately 400,000.

    Leicester points deduction

I haven’t read through the thread yet (haven’t had time) but supposing Leicester go on to achieve promotion, the Premier league then make their move re: FFP breaches and the club are found guilty. I presume in this scenario a sizeable points deduction and fine would then be imposed on the club 🤔...

Just say you’re not going to the football.

    VAR Saturday

Same rules yes but implemented differently.

    VAR Saturday

To have different rules in different games in the same competition is a nonsense imho. Not sure a team that regularly plays games overseen by VAR would gain any real advantage over a team that doesn’t though, they’d all just play their normal game I would think.

Can someone fucking explain to me...

Had a vision of you saying this whilst wearing a Deerstalker Hat, Inverness Cape & chuffing away on a Curved Pipe 😏

    MVE

Yes definitely missing Sakamoto ahead of him & Sheaf in the middle ‘as is everyone else in the team, always knew he was a very important player for us but the drop off in form since his injury is alarming, brings home just how instrumental to our cause he is. He was the absolute worst possible...

    Accounts due

Straight forward and fairly easy to understand (how things have changed ) I’m definitely no accountant but considering the accounts are for the period up to 31/05/23 they look pretty good and taking into account player sales, increased ticket sales, play-offs and TV revenue ‘you’d have to assume...

    Who needs VAR

Oh yeah, I get the reasoning behind venue selection (though some choices down the years made little logistical sense ie: Everton v Spurs at Elland Rd ) it’s just that I never knew the involved clubs had a say in it, if they did.
