    Schadenfreude

Wish Preston had gone instead of Plymouth. They seem to me to have shithoused their way through the championship for too many years.

    20 years on

Finally (before you all die of boredom), the most frightened I've ever been at a footy match was a night game against Liverpool (also in the 70s) when I was in a massive squeeze trying to get through the turnstiles into the West Stand. My feet were off the ground and I literally could not move...

    20 years on

Another memory is that we used to leave Kenilworth at around 2, park somewhere in the streets by The Hastings, have a couple of pints, and be in our seats in plenty of time for kickoff. We now leave 2 hours before kickoff and sometimes only just get there in time.

    20 years on

This is absolutely my memory. The smell of fags and piss is something that is so clear from games there back in the 1960s. However, I can't remember what I had for tea last night.

    Ref again

In the interests of balance Sheaf took out one of their players on the wing quite late on and we got the throw in. He was just plain useless.

    Jack Rudoni

    Blackburn away I think.

    Lampard red card

Nobody's fault but the referees. Footballers are the most cynical exploiters of any possible advantage. Refs need to assume this and react accordingly.

Match Thread Sheffield United - Coventry City Match Thread - Friday 28th Mar

... and having back the missing players (Wright and EMC). It wasn't the best decision to bring that game forward.

Fantasy play-off scenario, should we make the Wembley final

E Even at 3-0 yesterday I was nervous (for absolutely no reason).

    Jack Rudoni

Do you think he would be of interest to PL teams, or is he just Championship standard at the minute?

    Sheffield Wednesday pubs?

Could we not have a pinned thread about away friendly pubs for all away games? New Barracks is mentioned every year for example (and has been fine whenever I've been)
