If we go up we're going to need a lot of things.

Who was in goal the furst game you saw ?

Bob Wesson 1964 v Brentford 2-2. Funny how the mind plays tricks. I would have bet money on George Hudson scoring but turns out it was Ken Hale plus an og.

    Early Season Form

That's absolutely right. All pre-season we had hyped ourselves up. Settled squad, easier league, etc. Followed by an abysmal start.

    20 years on

Another memory is that we used to leave Kenilworth at around 2, park somewhere in the streets by The Hastings, have a couple of pints, and be in our seats in plenty of time for kickoff. We now leave 2 hours before kickoff and sometimes only just get there in time.

    20 years on

This is absolutely my memory. The smell of fags and piss is something that is so clear from games there back in the 1960s. However, I can't remember what I had for tea last night.

    Peterborough Left Back

Great result for a proper football club.

    Ref again

In the interests of balance Sheaf took out one of their players on the wing quite late on and we got the throw in. He was just plain useless.
