Match Thread Coventry City v Manchester United - FA Cup Semi-Final

Same sort of person who writes hateful comments in public toilets. There is zero accountability and this is why they do it, safe in the knowledge they can goad fair minded people, sit back and watch the aftermath. Best thing to do is report and ignore and in turn starve their small egos of the...

Match Thread Coventry City v Manchester United - FA Cup Semi-Final

Had we won that would have been peak for most fans. We sadly didn't do that. Football is typically measured by actual success and I think promotion, when and if it happens, will be more exhilarating than yesterday, albeit with less of a roller coaster of emotions unless its a last minute goal...

    Summer transfer/squad plans 2024

If we want to progress and are serious about top 2, we to keep all our best players and make him club captain and stop the merry go round of our best players leaving. Replacing top talent is far harder and risker than building a team around them.

    Fábio Tavares

He has trained on under the watchful eye of Adi and the coaching team. I actually think he has the potential to be a back up for Saka and also be a 4th choice ST. For those reasons he is worth keeping in the squad.

    Fábio Tavares

He and the other subs changed the game today. Still needs work on his first touch but he can cross well and his pace offers a great outlet.

Either clueless or a WUM. Given you sometimes accidentally talk sense, I am thinking the latter!

Match Thread Birmingham City - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 13th Apr

Rotherham away and maybe the second half away at Bristol City are up there with this one for me. Its not a valid reason but I sense some of the players were playing with an eye on next week knowing a red card or an injury would prevent them playing in the biggest game of their processional lives...

    What's the obsession with Lati?

He has a great temperament and speaks like a leader. Think that gets him more credit at the bank of Robins than most. Not sure he has been at his best for a while but in fairness the lack of playing time in a consistent position must be hard for him also.

Did okay but if he is the answer, promotion quility player, was not the question.

    END OF SEASON AWARDS EVENING

While I agree with the logic and reasoning, it's frankly not right. Yes, football is a free market but it is also a community asset and as such occupies a slightly different space in that free market. I think the introduction of a generously positioned total squad salary cap would stop the on...

    Mason-Clark

Poku was everywhere which was impressive but did not strike me as a upper championship (or higher) player. Of the two our new signing looked like he had more technical ability and trickery. Edwards would be the other I would look at for the right price of those I saw today.

    Season tickets for 2024/2025 season

Even tbough most fans wages will be stagnate, I suspect most fans would accept a moderate increase of circa 5-10%. If Doug goes in hard on the fans wallets with a 30% price hike, while some will pay it would be a regressive move for the club and specifically Dougs approval ratings which appear...

    Leicester points deduction

I am sure it would be dependent on them going up and having a big sale of a player like Dewsbury Hall
