Yep, probably not a penalty in truth but if he goes down I've seen them given. By the same token I wasn't 100% sure the Fleck one was a penalty either and the refs position makes it almost impossible for him to give as he's guessing about what sort of contact was made to the ball or man.

That's impossible for the ref to give as Flecks body stops him seeing if there's any contact on the ball and even after a couple of replays I'm not sure it's any more stonewall then the one where Meredith stumbled in your box. Might not have happened if you only had 9 men anyway! ;)

I agree that he was moving away but he certainly wasn't running and he was deliberately in the line of the free kick and attempting to slow it down/stop it being taken.
