Wasps deal is for 100% of ACL

I get your sentiment, but I'm not sure I agree. They are a charity and have other things to worry about than dealing with the sorry mess the last few years has brought them. They don't want to take the risks anymore and I can't blame them. Of course, we would prefer they took the moral high...

    Things looking up for Joy

Well done Joy. Now you just need to offset your profits against the £70 (ish) million debts you've loaded onto CCFC and at this rate you'll break even in a couple of hundred years. Business woman of the century, me thinks.

Judicial review day 3 - judgement day

True, but talking bollocks twice doesn't make it any less bollocks.

Judicial review day 3 - judgement day

Ha ha. brilliant. announcement to be made within 3 weeks. You couldn't make this up.:D

    Judicial Review thread

Best post I've read in a long time. I couldn't agree more. The whole bloody mess we are in is as a result of mismanagement by all of the parties involved BUT I believe CCC/ACL made their decisions with good intentions (to protect a public asset and to protect CCFC by trying to force SISU out)...

    New stadium

Every time I hear Fisher or ML speak I think 'you're talking out Uranus' it's only now that I realise their plan. If we play on Uranus and have no other teams in the league, we'll win it for sure!

    FA Cup Final Match Thread

I'm an optimist. We're playing well, the game is well balanced (except the score). I think we can nick one and take it to extra time.

Anyone remember 'City's Cup of Joy'

It's probably me being a bit daft but I can't see them. As long as they went through, it's no biggy. Cheers anyway.

Anyone remember 'City's Cup of Joy'

I couldn't remember how long after the final that they showed this. I had guessed it must have been a few weeks. For it to be shown on New Years day (months later) shows just how good the game was, even from a neutral's point of view. I don't remember seeing any other FA Cup match covered in...

Anyone remember 'City's Cup of Joy'

Lol. I think the 'cup of Joy' is what Fisher drinks out of at the weekend.

Anyone remember 'City's Cup of Joy'

Just checking - did you receive my PM? I've tried twice but its not showing in the sent box.

Anyone remember 'City's Cup of Joy'

I still have a VHS player. If you're willing to lend me the tape I'll see if I can copy it onto a PC and do a DVD copy for each of us?

Anyone remember 'City's Cup of Joy'

Every time there are stories about the 1987 FA Cup win (as there are on the telegraph website today) I'm reminded of the Channel 4 programme shown a few weeks after the game called 'City's Cup of Joy' Sorry if this has been mentioned before on here, but does anyone else remember seeing it? It...

    A few questions for PWKH

For what it's worth, I'll tell you why I'm suspicious of people who make pro-SISU comments - particularly if they appear to have changed their tune. I've followed this absolutely ridiculous saga for years now. I've forgotten most of what has gone on. But I haven't forgotten how many times I...

    Higgs vs CCFC Court Row

I'm not so sure. Why employ so many lawyers if it doesn't mean much to them? They claim they can batter people in the courts - it probably helps attract investors if they can bully their way to whatever goal they are hoping to achieve - but they have been thrown out by judges before and have...

    ACL group accounts 2013

So it would seem fair to say that ACL are more financially secure than CCFC. If the auditors reported no going concerns until at least 2015 (without the football club) it would appear to be true that the Ricoh does not need CCFC to survive. Hmm, I wonder what that does to SISU's negotiation...

Sky Blue Sports & Leisure 2013 accounts

I think this is how the conversation went... SISU - we are three weeks away from securing the Ricoh ARVO - you said that last year SISU - we mean it this time, but we'll just need some more funds from you to be able to tide us over in the meantime ARVO - I tell you what, we'll loan you bit more...

Or (to stick to reality) Nigel Benn vs Gerald Mcclellan - but that ultimately didn't end well.

    Comebacks

Greatest ever comeback: Rocky Balboa versus Ivan Drago. Only time I've ever been at a cinema and the entire audience is shouting and cheering just like they were at a real fight!
