    City v Wycombe Petition

Non-story is this. How many petitions from us to the EFL were listened to about our plight? Any takers?

EFL Decision on Coventry’s future expected today

How about using the cricket way of sorting things out - along the lines of the Duckworth/Lewis method, suitably tweaked for use in football. Don't know how it works, but then I think it's a mystery to some cricket fans.

    Manager of the Month

Curse of Manager of the Month award - that'll be the end of the unbeaten run then.

**ALL USERS READ THIS, ACTION REQUIRED ASAP** - Sky Blues Talk forum statement

So, about a 5% vote of 7500 on the forum. Not good for anyone to take notice. Just my opinion.

    League One today

He'll be a NY Yankees fan, or Galatasaray fan, I would have thought. Or failing that, as he has no links to Manchester, a Man U fan.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Bristol Rovers Match Thread - Saturday 17th Aug

Just getting the lawn mower out to cut the grass and wait for the goal alerts from the beeb. Although it's much easier for me to get to St Andrews, without my lad to assist with my mobility scooter, I'm unable to travel alone. Here's hoping for a win today and not like last week at Bolton.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Bristol Rovers Match Thread - Saturday 17th Aug

Not really interested in the arguments you put forward, but I for one would appreciate if you could read your post before posting, as some of your words, on first reading, don't make sense. There - lecture from a grammar cop - I'll get me coat

Match Thread Bolton Wanderers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 10th Aug

Bolton website says tickets on sale - presumably to home fans - but you need to register on line. I'll be phoning soon to see if I can get away tickets for disabled supporters.

    2019/2020 Fixtures Thread

Is anyone having trouble adding the fixtures to calendar? I click on the calendar on the right of the first fixture and it directs me to a page which says "This site can't provide a secure connection" and I cannot over ride it. The provider (if that's the correct term) is bit.ly and when I...

    Legends Poster

Bill Glazier was a goalkeeper - may even have been better than Oggy. Sad fact is, we haven't seen their like since Oggy retired

    Our Best Ever Keeper ?

Bill Glazier would have been my choice if he'd played for us in the 3rd tier, but league 1 in 1964 was the equivalent of the Premier league & BG joined when we were in the 2nd Division (Championship as it is now). I think I'm right, but I was only 10 at the time.

48 hours away from expulsion / New Ricoh Talks!

I've been of the same opinion of this poster for some years. He/she only offers criticism and never anything constructive. One of the reasons I don't visit this forum too often - too much bickering and very little constructive comment.

Well said sir. And I vote "TOOL"

    Oggy Retiring

You've stirred my memory. I took my lad to meet the players & get a photo with the FA Cup a week or two after the win. When we met Oggy I prompted my son to tell him he was a gk too. Oggy leaned down and asked what gloves he used - "Goalie gloves" said my lad. The big man grinned a very wide...

    Video Oggy Retirement Video

Some great memories there. As I said on another thread, I didn't think we would ever see anyone to better Bill Glazier and then came along big Oggy. Good luck my friend.

    Oggy Retiring

Never thought we'd ever see a keeper to better Bill Glazier. When he left we had some donkeys in goal (McManus springs to mind). And then Oggy arrives, and what a difference he made. A long and happy retirement big Oggy, a great and loyal servant to the club.
