39 images I took from Todays protest.

There's one there of myself and dog Spike sporting a sky blue scarf. We raised £48.27 for the Coventry & Nuneaton RSPCA shelter (his former home) ahead of a sponsored walk to Oxford along the canal over the next week. Thanks to all who contributed.

Many coventarians want ccfc to lose matches

Sphinx at HOME - want them to win! Coventry Sphinx play at home today (3pm). They have shown an appreciation of the relatively small (compared to league crowds) increase in attendances. Although the standard may not be what some City fans are used to they are on a good run (won last four...

Sisu back in full control and us out of admin by Tuesday?

When is the creditors meeting? I thought it was supposed to be next Friday (after being adjourned for two weeks. Has it been pulled forward following the bids?

    Coventry United FC

Some good memories of Cov Sporting - I was at both of the cup ties (v Tranmere & Peterborough) City drew at Anfield the day Sporting beat Tranmere so didn't make headlines in the Pink! Saudi Arabia drew 0-0 with Sporting in a friendly at Kirby Corner. Jimmy Hill was involved with the Saudi...

What are YOU doing to help get SISU out ?

Not at all sure about any of this (like most of us!). Does this mean Arvo are the main creditor if Holdings is deemed to be in (or is eventually put into) administration? Looks like Arvo / Sisu are continuing to ensure they have control over any proceedings and assets held in Holdings.

Three greatest managers in English football history

I should really have said Brian Clough / Peter Taylor - hard to say how each would work without the other. Then as a partnership Sillett/ Curtis not bad! All down to earth and able to get the best out of those they worked with.

Three greatest managers in English football history

    1) Has to be Brian Clough - Derby & Forest were no bigger clubs than us. Wining European cup with Larry Lloyd, John Robertson and Kenny Burns was a real achievement (twice!) if you remember the atttiude of those players before that (even though Larry Lloyd was one of my favorites at City) 2)...

    Great Moments At CCFC Games

The other one was Stoke away on a Friday night. Ian Painter missed a late penalty for Stoke and we won 1-0. We then signed Ian Painter! (Can't remember him doing much for us though!)

    Great Moments At CCFC Games

5-4 Norwich at home 77-8 season, Jim Blyth penalty save to keep it 5-4 at the end! Most entertaining season of all those since I've been going. All out attack with two wingers (Hutch & Graydon), Fergie & Wallace up front.

New Independent Supporters Club - Open Meeting

I was in a queue to (re)join the Sky Blue Trust at the Doncaster match. Although I have never attended any meetings I used to travel to some friendlies on the Trust coaches. I think I was told that there were over 1500 members when signing up again. It seemed to me that these people are doing...

    crawley tickets

I emailed Crawley ticket office manager this morning to ask what was happening with tickets (this was before the website announcement). She replied that she had sent tickets to our new "main ticket office" based at the training ground. She then emailed me again an hour later to say that the...
